Facing Hard Times? | God Already Knows

9/23/2021

Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Thursday to you all! I truly hope and pray that your day is going well…and that you will ALWAYS know in your heart that God already knows what you're facing…and that you are NEVER alone…Amen!!
As I think on what we are experiencing in this world right now…I also think on how easy it can be to feel alone during these difficult times. We must remember that what we don't think God sees…or what we feel we have to convince Him of…He already knows about it all, for He is God.
Lately, I have noticed something different about myself. It seems that the moment I'm either overwhelmed with life…or am troubled by what Satan's attempting to do to me; I find myself simply saying… "Lord Jesus." I guess that I have gotten to the place in my life, where that is all I feel the need to say…knowing in my heart that He already knows what's happening at that moment, even before I have a chance to speak a word.
Last night, as I was relaxing before bed, I began to look through God's word…and from there, God began to lead me to a couple Bible verses in Psalm 139:4-5, which says… "For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. 5) Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me."
You know…I have come to truly see what separates God from man. In other words…do you know of any other one who could read the tablet of your heart and know what's on your mind, even before you speak one word? I don't think that we know of any other person, who could ever know us that deeply. Just think…this God not only knows what's on our hearts and minds; but He is all around us, which means that He is in front of us…and can be on top of the situation…and can even see what we can't see. Also…He is behind us, which means that He is always on alert to what may creep up on us and attempt to take us down; and once we allow ourselves to be drawn even closer to Him through the difficult times; that is when we begin to feel His loving touch upon us…and a presence that can instantly bring a calm to the storm we're facing.
During times such as these, I guess we can find it easy to wonder where God is; but one thing I can tell you for sure; is that He's there…and He already knows what we're facing…and what is on our minds and in our hearts. It's just that we don't always quite see what's happening in the same way He does; because I think that we tend to allow our minds and hearts to drift off to a different path…a path that seems to draw us closer into what is taking place around us, rather than what God may be up to at the time; so from there, we find ourselves losing touch with the One who is already at work, on a situation that He already knew about, even before we had a chance to speak one word.
Today, are you feeling alone in this lonely world…one that seems to only worsen with time? If so, may I encourage you to connect your heart with the heart of Jesus, by simply calling out His name… "Lord Jesus." …for when you do this; then your heart will be convinced that this is all that needs to be said, to a powerful being that already knows about everything that is going on around you; and from there, a peace will replace the unsettled feelings you once felt within your heart…Amen!
Have a very blessed day…and ALWAYS remember that God's got you and the situation you're facing; for He already knows all about it.
God bless!
It's Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
