God Inspired Words of Encouragement for these Trying Times

8/27/2021

Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Friday to you all! As we begin our time together today, I would like to first start out by saying that there can be times, when the days in a week have been very hard and difficult to get through; but one thing that God is reminding me of this morning…is to not focus on the days that were a struggle; but rather, to focus on where we are at this very moment, which can keep hope alive within us; so today, let's praise God for bringing us through another week…Amen!!
This morning, as I've been sitting here listening to some music…God began to work with my heart; because you see, I think that during times such as these, we can easily find ourselves caught up in anger and other feelings that we soon regret…feelings that Satan attempts to use against us, as a way of making us believe that we have failed God and even ourselves.
The first thing I want to tell you today; is that we are all human…and the second thing I want you to know; is that no matter what we put God through…He still remains with us. In Psalm 139:7-12, we read… "Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8) If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. 9) If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10) Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. 11) If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. 12) Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee."
We must remember that God doesn't respond to failure, in the way that other's around us may do. In fact…once we become attached to this powerful  being through salvation…we will never find ourselves out of His sight; for He knows that we are human…and that there may be times when we show ourselves as imperfect.
You know…the thoughts that become implanted within our minds during times of weakness and failure, are only meant to make us believe that we have disappointed our God…to the place that He just may never love us again; but through my own moments of weakness…weakness that caused me to get angry at God, during the deep hurt and disappointment of the past…only led me to where I am today…serving the One who never walked away.
Stop and think for a moment…is there any place that you can hide from God's presence? If you are experiencing moments, when everything is going well; then He's celebrating these moments right beside you…and if you find yourself drifting away from His presence, while falling prey to weakness; His love still looks for you…to help you overcome these weaknesses in your life; for He's the One whose light can illuminate the darkness that surrounds you.
In these days that we are now living in, we can find it so easy to become caught up in moments that can lead us to anger and fear; but God is reminding us of something today in John 16:33 that can help us, and we read… "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” So in other words…these things will take place, as evil attempts to make itself known to us; but we don't have to allow these times to manipulate our thoughts and feelings…for Jesus has already won these battles and has overcome the world, which should help us to live with peace, rather than turmoil.
Have a very blessed day…a great weekend…and I will hope to be with you again on Monday! God bless!
It's Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
