Hello everyone…and how are you doing today? I am doing great…and why…because I have God by my side…and I know that no matter what may come my way; He will be there to help and counsel me through it all!
Last night, after another warm day…and also a day filled with pain; I decided to get around a little earlier and just put my legs up on the daybed and rest…and as I was getting around; God began to speak to my heart and remind me that He already knew what I had been facing throughout the day…and that He was there to help me. You know…sometimes we can feel as if God can't see or understand what we are going through at the time…and we may even feel that we have to pray and pray, until we have convinced Him, as to how bad the situation really is; but we must remember that this God we worship and serve knows everything that is happening in our lives…because He is the God and Father of all that He has created. This morning, as I was looking through some Bible verses; God led me to a few verses in Psalm 139:1-4, which says… "You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. 2) You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. 3) You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. 4) Before a word is on my tongue, you Lord, know it completely." Just think…at a time when our circumstances are attempting to convince us that God is so far away from us…He really isn't; for He is so close to us that He knows when we sit down…lie down…or even stand. He also knows what we are going to say to Him, even before we speak a word. You know…I have come to see that a circumstance has a way of convincing us that God has forgotten us, as it intensifies with time; but one thing God reminded me of last night; is that even though He may allow something to enter our lives…for a reason that we many not fully understand at the time; He also continually watches over everything that concerns us…and I have come to see many times within my life; that God's love is seen, when He steps in at a breaking point…to relieve me of the moments that become more than I can stand. I think that if we could truly come to the realization that this big God is up in the heavens watching our every move; then that alone would give us hope…just knowing that He is keeping an eye on everything we may be experiencing at the time. No matter what we face…and no matter how bad it may seem; we can live with the hope that God has everything under control; for He already knows what lies down the road, even before we reach those moments in time. In fact…if we stop and think about it…God not only knows what is up ahead of us…but He's already there…making the road easier for us to walk down; but one thing we must remember…if we allow our thoughts to sidetrack us into thinking that God isn't there; then this just may give Satan a reason to pull us further down a road of deeper despair. What we need to do today; is to get our minds focused on Bible verses such as Psalm 139:1-4…for when we do; that is when we will be able to find peace in the midst of the storm…knowing that God already knows what concerns us.
