Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Friday to you all! It's so good to be back with you today! I sure hope that your day is going well…and that your weekend is off to a great start! As we begin our time together…my prayer is that our hearts will truly be uplifted and encouraged, by each God inspired word that is given to us today…Amen!!
You know…I think that we can all say that we have moments, when we are just so overwhelmed with life and all that is taking place around us. A few days ago, as I was getting ready to start my day, it seemed as though one thought after another kept entering my mind, until I began to feel a little overwhelmed. As I stood there…quietly to myself; God began to remind me that sometimes we just need to slow down a little and take life one step at a time…and not try to figure out the steps that still lie before us; but rather, allow God to lead us in His steps…for this is the only way in which peace can be found.
As I was thinking on this more last night; God began to show me, as to how this can relate to what we are experiencing in this world right now; because as we all probably know…difficult times such as these have a way of pushing our thoughts and hearts in the wrong direction…one where we can easily find ourselves walking in other footsteps; for as panic takes hold of us and fear sets in…we can easily find ourselves following after feelings, whose only aim is to lure us deeper into what is taking place at the time.
This morning, as I was looking through God's word, for a verse that would relate to this writing; He led me to a great one in Psalm 37:34, and we read… "Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it."
You know…it's so easy to get side-tracked in life, by what we see and experience around us; and these thoughts and feelings even have a way of dragging us down a detour road that only seems to lead us further into other feelings of anger, doubt and fear; but we must remember to let God be God and not grow impatient with what He may not be doing at the time. When we can remain focused on where He's leading us, rather than where this world may be attempting to lead us; then in due season, He will honor our efforts with His blessings…and on top of that, we will see the wickedness in this world destroyed.
No matter how this world may be affecting our hearts and minds right now…and no matter how hopeless it may appear to be; I pray that we will not allow these feelings and what is happening around us, to remove us from the path that God has us on. If we could only slow down and think rationally; then I'm sure that we would find ourselves looking for God's steps to walk in each day, rather than walking ahead of God…down roads that only lead us deeper, into what we are already facing in this world.
Have a very blessed day…and ALWAYS remember to walk in sync with God…not this world…Amen!!
God bless…and I will hope to be with you again on Monday!
It's Always & Only Because of Him…
