Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Friday to you all! Well…we've made it through another week…and as we begin the weekend, I would like to leave you with "hope"…and I pray that these God inspired words will help you to keep pressing on, during these difficult times we're facing…AMEN!!
In these days that we are living in…we definitely need hope. Do you realize that hope is believing in something that you haven't yet seen or experienced? The reason why I say this; is because we can say we have hope in God; but are we truly convinced that He can bring us through the toughest times?
As I was reading some Bible verses last night, God led me to a couple verses in Romans 8:24-25, and we read… "For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25) But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it." Through these Bible verses, God has reminded me that we even need hope and trust in Him to be saved…for first of all, we need to be able to truly trust God, before we can even have hope in what He hasn't even yet accomplished within our lives. Think about it this way…if we can't truly trust God to do everything for us; then how are we ever going to be able to have hope for the things that are going wrong around us?
You know…as we walk through these troubled times; it can seem as though we are walking down a darkened path, with evil all around us. We may even have to feel our way through these darkened moments; but if we can see this darkened path, as a path that will eventually walk us into a brighter tomorrow…even if we can't see the light of that new dawn; then this hope that we are holding so tightly to, will be like a candle that can help us find our way through the darkness.
All around us, we seem to be observing what appears to be a wounded world…and the difficult times that we are now facing, can be a painful reminder of where we may be headed, which can cause our hearts and minds to yearn for a full deliverance. Through the times we yearn for help…these times of longing for something better, can actually cause us to slow down from a state of panic…to a place where we come to realize that waiting on God to act, can actually lead us to what we couldn't see for ourselves. It's that yearning for something we need; that actually causes us to take hold of the hand of hope.
The thing we need to ask ourselves right now is this…are we yearning or longing for God's help…or are we yearning or longing to remain in close contact with what is happening around us…so we can always be on top of what is happening? If we are yearning to know more about the situations that are taking place around us; then this will only lead us deeper into what is already taking place at the time, which will cause us to lose our grip with hope; but on the other hand, if we are yearning for what can be done to help the situation, even if we can't see it yet; then moments such as these will cause us to connect more deeply with God, which will also help us to wait with expectancy, for what God can only do…and this is what we truly call hope.
Have a very blessed day…and I pray that you will continue to yearn for something better than what is happening around you…so you can find hope for each new day!
God bless…have a great weekend…and I will hope to be with you again on Monday!
It's Always & Only Because of Him…
