Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Thursday to you all! I pray that you are truly feeling and experiencing the presence of God in your day…and even more, I pray that we all will come to truly see that we don't have to feel alone or live in fear of this world, when we have a perfect love in our life…One who longs to help, love and care for us…Amen!!
As we face a world of uncertainty, we can find ourselves living in fear of what may lie ahead of us. When we see how love, care and concern for others is rarely seen in this world anymore; this can make us feel even more alone in this lonely world, which can take our thoughts and hearts even more into fear of the unknown…those darkened days that haven't yet come to light.
What we truly need during times such as these; is a close connection with a perfect love…one that can keep us disconnected from the thoughts that can bring about fear…and one that can lead us away from the unknown thoughts, of "what if."
One thing God is reminding me of in His word right now; are the words of John 15:13, which reads… "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." In this verse, we see that the greatest and most perfect love is shown, when a person lays down his life for his friends, which is what took place at the cross, as Jesus gave up His life for us all. In other words…this kind of perfect love isn't any ordinary so-called love…or one that caves into it's own desires; but rather, this perfect love is self-sacrificial and is not directed to itself; but to the one in whom love is being shown.
Now…if we have a close relationship with this perfect love, which is Jesus Christ…the true and only source of love; and we continue to witness His power and strength in our lives…and even in the world around us; then why would we ever feel the need to fear? Could it be that we haven't trusted fully in what this perfect love can be for us? We must remember that love and fear aren't compatible…and they can't reside together at the same time; for perfect love is what continually fills us with hope, while fear only leads us down a path of torment. When we come to truly see this…and plug ourselves securely into the perfect love of Jesus…and truly come to believe in what this perfect love can accomplish; then that is when fear will begin to no longer feel welcome in our lives.
Something that God has truly embedded within my heart is found in I John 4:18, and we read… "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love."
As Christians, we already know that Christ has paid the debt for our sins; and because of this…we also know that we have nothing to fear when we die. After coming to see what Jesus actually did out of love for us…and how He gave up everything for us, just because He felt we were more important than Himself; then why would that perfect love let us down now…and why would we ever feel the need to succumb to fear?
When we can lay down the word "Christianity" and begin to form a true and lasting relationship with this perfect love; that is when I believe that we will not only experience His perfect love in our lives; but I also believe that through that connection…this will also help to cultivate our faith and cause it to grow, which from there will take us above these moments we're facing, until we no longer feel the need to hold tightly to the hand of fear…Amen!
Have a very blessed day…and ALWAYS know that there is a perfect love that is ALWAYS available for you!
It's Always & Only Because of Him…
*If you haven't yet accepted Jesus into your heart…and have found the hope that can rescue your heart and save you from evil, I would encourage you to check out… "Come to Jesus."
