Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Thursday to you all! I truly hope and pray that your day is going well…and that you will ALWAYS know in your heart that there is someone greater than weakness…One who can truly be there for you…to strengthen you and lead you away from whatever you may be facing at this time…Amen!!
Last night, as I was seeking God, as to what we should share with you today; there is one thing He opened up to me and that is this; while facing the difficult times…such as we are right now; we need to experience strength…not weakness; for this is the only way that we are going to survive what is standing before us at this time…and how do we do that…we allow these trying times to teach us how to persevere…and through perseverance, we rise out of these weakened moments and mature spiritually, into someone even stronger than before. In this way, we can find a reason to rejoice…knowing that we can thrive and make it through the moments that are standing before us, rather than fearing the very worst.
As I look back on my life, I can see many instances that actually caused me to walk away from weakness and take hold of God's strength. Even though I didn't see it that way at the time…I did eventually come to a place, where the circumstance actually nudged me in God's direction; for I came to see that I was either going to sink or swim…and it's amazing, as to how much strength is gained in a short time…just by choosing to put your all into something like this and persevere.
How many times have we told ourselves that we either don't have the strength to go on…or we are just too tired of being strong for everything that confronts us? First of all…don't we realize that we can't be strong on our own; but rather, inner strength can only be achieved, as we endure these hardships in life.
Last night, as I was looking through God's word, He began to open up my heart to a few Bible verses in James 1:2-4, which reads… "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3) because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4) Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."
Many times, I think that we are so focused on the difficulties and troubles that we're facing at the time; that we see these weak moments as something that is almost impossible to get around or climb over…and from there, we begin to convince ourselves that as long as that form of weakness stands before us; that there will also be nothing that we can do about it, which can actually cause us to fall prey to these weak moments and become even weaker.
Little do we realize that moments such as these can actually turn us around and allow patience to help us to grow and become more mature in Christ, which can make us stronger people in the end; and once we choose to allow these weak moments to take us in this direction…that is when we will not only be ready to face what stands before us at the time; but we will find that this new strength that was brought about through past moments of weakness, can also help us to face other things to. You see, it's the trials we face and the hard times we endure; that actually points us in the direction of something greater than weakness…and as we endure times such as these with a persevering spirit, we eventually come to see that the weakness we thought would take us down, has actually lifted us higher than what we first thought. The one thing we need to remember though; is to not try to squirm our way out of these weakened moments or ignore them altogether; for this will only keep us locked up within these weakened moments, which will only allow us to fall deeper into despair.
No matter what we face in our personal lives…or even in this world; these moments aren't meant by God to bring us down to nothing; but rather, He is using times such as these to produce endurance, perseverance…and even more…a strength that will always keep us closer to Him, and further away from this evil, weakened world of darkness…Amen!
Have a very blessed day…and ALWAYS know that God is working through the evil that surrounds you…to make you stronger and better for Him…so don't give up!
It's Always & Only Because of Him…
