Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Tuesday to you all! I sure hope that your day is off to a great start…and I also pray that as we spend these precious moments alone with God; that hope will be found…a hope that can help us to see life in a different light…Amen!!
Lately, I have come to see how we can feel so insecure in this world. It seems like evil is not only on a rampage right now; but it's also attempting to convince us that it will triumph over what is good in this world. As I was thinking on this last night; God was taking me back to a couple Bible verses in Psalm 37:1-2, which reads… "Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. 2) For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb." You know…we can experience a feeling of insecurity in this world, due to what is taking place around us; but that is only because our thoughts have become more intensely focused on the ways of evil…and how they seem to be winning in this world right now. We need to realize that when we become that focused on what evil is up to; then we become caught up in moments that only attempt to convince us that nothing will ever turn around for the good, which only makes us feel even more insecure in this world. As we look at this world and where it seems to be taking us; we can wonder where God is…and these moments can even cause us to feel envious and jealous of those who are rewarded for doing wrong; but we must remember that these times won't last forever. Think of it in this way…a flower grows up from the ground and blooms beautifully; but within a short time, the flower begins to fade in color and wither back to the ground, from where it first came. Even though evil may be having it's day right now…we must remember that a day is coming, when the tables will be turned and the righteous will experience an everlasting victory over evil. Yes…we, as Christians may face difficult times, while we watch evil have it's way and win; but what is actually happening; is that they are receiving their reward now, which is not a blessing from God; but rather, a reward that comes about through their own evil deeds. We don't always understand why God sits back and allows such times to happen; but the way I see it; is that the fireworks may be going off now…but the grand finale is soon to follow, which is the return of Jesus Christ. What we really need to focus on each day; is that we, as Christians, are truly the ones that are more secure in this world right now, even in the midst of all that is taking place around us…and why; because through salvation, we are securely locked into a God that will never abandon us…fail us or forsake us. Today, if you are feeling insecure in this world; then you need to ask yourself a couple questions. First of all…are your thoughts tied into this world, rather than what awaits you as a Christian…and second, have you found salvation through Jesus Christ…one that can lock you into a secure future, for all of eternity? If you are finding yourself tied into an evil that only blesses itself for a short time; may I encourage you to get into God's word and read verses that can remind you, as to how God has you securely locked into His presence. Also…if you haven't accepted Jesus as your Savior…and are not tied into this secure future that He is offering you; may I encourage you to follow the link below, to a webpage titled…"Come to Jesus;" and take that first step into a future with Christ; that can make you feel save and secure in this evil world. No matter what we face…and no matter what may attempt to convince us that evil has won; we must continue to press on with the thought; that this too shall pass…Amen! Have a very blessed day…and ALWAYS remain focused on the One who can keep you secure…in an insecure world! God bless!
