As I've been sitting here this morning…listening to music and connecting with the One whose words can truly become healing words of encouragement to our souls; God began to place a question before me, which I would like to also ask you and it simply says… "How are we viewing our circumstances?" In other words, if we are viewing our circumstances in the way that the world views theirs; then I would say that there wouldn't be any chance of finding hope; but on the other hand…if we are trying to view them in the way that God is longing for us to see them; then I would say that instead of seeing ourselves as someone defeated…we would begin to see how much stronger we could become throughout these times of weakness.
You know…I have come to truly see how we can easily miss out on the lessons learned…and a greater strength that could be obtained throughout these difficult times…simply because we have allowed ourselves to fall prey to the thoughts that are being conveyed to us through the circumstance. As I was searching God's word this morning, for a verse or two that could help us to understand this more; God led me to a couple Bible verses in Romans 5:3-4, and we read… "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4) perseverance, character; and character, hope." Do we realize that when we become saddened and depressed over our circumstances; that this is only because we are viewing what could be the worst outcome of that circumstance. When we can truly come to see how something good could stem from these difficult times…something that could make us better people; then I would think that this is where we would find a reason to rejoice…just knowing that there is hope. When we can allow the difficult moments of life to teach us something new like patience; then other difficult times that may arise won't seem so overwhelming to us. In my own life, I have seen this happen…and even though the struggle is there; I now have a different strength than what I had maybe 20 years ago. In other words…the difficult and hard times in my life have not only helped me to view hope in a different way than before; but it's as if something has stuck with me over the years…something that automatically kicks in and helps me to rise above the difficult times, rather than remaining face to face with them. The encouragement that I would like to give you today; is to slow down and not allow your circumstances to take hold of you; but instead…start looking at them in the way that God may be allowing them into your life. Remember one thing…God will NEVER allow anything bad to enter your life, unless He sees a reason and purpose for it all. Yes…times are hard and we can't escape the hard and difficult times of life; but there is a better way to view them…a way where hope can remain alive within us…and that hope can only exist, when we choose to see the difficult times through God's eyes. Have a very blessed day…and ALWAYS know that God is on your side…and whatever He allows within your life, He will be with you until the very end! It's Always & Only Because of Him… Diane *Please feel free to share & comment below. Return Back to the Main Page Comments are closed.
