Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Thursday to you all! I sure hope that you are enjoying your day…and my prayer for you is that no matter what you face in this life; you will ALWAYS know in your heart that God has it already figured out…Amen!!
Even before beginning this week, I knew that it was going to be very busy, even into the following Monday and Tuesday. When a person like me lives with chronic pain and health issues, a busy schedule like this can attempt to make one believe that it's almost impossible to accomplish. Even though I couldn't see it all happening at the time, I chose to press on and just take it from one moment to the next. As each day has passed, I have truly seen how God had everything already figured out for me, even before I took my first step into this new week…and I was not only facing a busy week; but on top of it all, our kitchen faucet broke, which meant that I would have to call our landlord and set up a time for him to come and fix the faucet. Even as each moment began to stack on top of another, I still decided to just take one day at a time and let God continue to unfold everything before me. By yesterday afternoon, I began to see how He had figured everything out for the week, in a way in which I would have never been able to figure out on my own. I think the thing that God has shown me the most throughout this busy week; is that when we take life one moment at a time, while leaving everything in His hands; that is when there is room for His plan to open up and unfold before us. The thing we must remember the most is found in Isaiah 55:8, which reads… "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord." In other words, God's thoughts and ways are much higher than ours; and what we perceive to be impossible…God is already on it, with a plan to see us through these difficult times; for it says in Jeremiah 29:11… "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." In other words, God will show up and take care of us, as He has promised in His word…and because His ways are much higher than ours; that means that He has a greater wisdom to know just how to make everything work out just fine. You know…so many times, I have come to see how the hard and difficult moments of life can attempt to make us believe that God has abandoned us; but that is only because we are the ones that have abandoned Him…to study the problem and attempt to make everything work out on our own. We must remember that if we are going to survive these difficult times; then first, we need to let go of everything and place our needs in God's almighty and powerful hands. Then from there, we need to look for what He has already figured out for us. When we can do this; then we will be able to have peace and a settled feeling…knowing that as we take each step…He will be there to unfold each piece of His plan before us. What hope! May you truly have a very blessed day…and ALWAYS remember that God already has it figured out! God bless…and I will hope to be with you again tomorrow!
