Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Wednesday to you all! It's so good to be back with you today…and as we continue to find encouragement through God's inspired words…I pray that these will be the words that will keep us uplifted and close to Him each day…Amen!!
Last night, as I prepared to go to bed, God began to speak deep within my spirit and remind me, as to how this world is slowly fading away. In my life, I have walked down many paths…paths where I felt wounded and broken, due to a long journey of pain and deep heartache; but as I look even further back on my life…before this journey even began; I see a young girl…laying on the grass…looking up to a world that she thought would never end. Now this young girl is a woman…one who has traveled far in life and has learned much along the way. She no longer views her world as one that will go on forever; but rather, she has come to see that each journey eventually finds its end. You know…the roads that had at one time seemed never ending…and almost impossible for me to walk down, have now led me deep into the presence of God…a place that I thought I'd never reach. Even though pain still racks my body…and the memories of the past attempt to haunt me from time to time; I now know that these painful steps are actually allowing me to be an overcomer to the weaknesses that once tried to hold me back in life. Now as I sit here and think back on all I've journeyed through…this world that I once felt would never end, is now gradually fading away, with each step I continue to take on this journey; and the hope I now live with each day; is that with each step I continue to take…these steps will now lead me one step closer to a new world…one that will never pass away…and one where a new journey will begin and will last for all of eternity. After reading what I had jotted down last night, I went into God's word…and from there, He led me to a Bible verse in I John 2:17, and we read… "And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever." You know…even though these troubled times have a way of convincing us that this evil world will continue on forever; God is giving us hope through the Bible verse above…and that hope says that he who doeth the will of God, will abide forever in a new world…one that will never pass away or worsen with time; but one that will bring about a new life…one that will free us from pain, deep heartache and the chaos that we are now living in. Just think…as each day passes us by…this world is fading away and the evil that is with it; and as the light finally burns out on this world…a new light will dawn in a place called Heaven…and for the one who has chosen to follow Christ and His will for their life; this is the one who will leave this world, to reside in a new world…one that will live on forever and never fade away…and this is the hope that God is offering you today. Have a very blessed day…and just know that this too shall pass! God bless!
