How many times do we feel as if Satan has control over us and this world, by what we see and experience around us? You know…it can be so easy to be drawn into moments such as these; but we must remember the words of Psalm 118:24, which says… "This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." In other words…this is the day that the Lord hath made…not Satan; and even though Satan may try to defeat it…God made it; so He has control over every moment of that day. I don't know about you; but there are times in my life when I need to be reminded of this; because the circumstances we face have a way of telling us a completely different story…one that can easily lead us to a place of deep despair…where we experience no hope…only the moments that make us feel, as if they have complete control over our lives.
You know…many times I have read this verse in Psalm 118:24; but it hasn't been until today that I have come to truly take hold of the thought…that my God not only makes each day; but also has control over every moment I walk through. Yes…He never promised that every day would be perfect; but He did promise to be there…and no matter what He allows; we can rejoice in the thought that He has control over everything that He creates. The encouragement that I would like to give you today; is to not get caught up in what is happening around you; but rather, get caught up in the thought that God has made this day just for you…and no matter what may come your way; you can rejoice in the thought that your God has complete control over every moment that He places before you. No matter what you may be facing in this day, just know that God is allowing it for a reason…and even though He's allowing it…He has complete control; so rejoice…for this is the day that the Lord has made just for you…a day where you can truly come to see and experience something greater, than what we tend to see and experience in this world. Have a very blessed day…and don't forget to rejoice; for God's got you! It's Always & Only Because of Him… Diane *Please feel free to share & comment below.
