This morning, as I have been enjoying a beautiful view outside my window; I've also been thinking on all that I had recently been going through these past couple of weeks, which to be honest with you hasn't been good. As I was reflecting a little bit on this; God began to show me how easily we can see these days, as days of total defeat and destruction in our lives, which only ends up spilling over into another new day.
Yesterday, I wrote a short writing on how we can easily view our circumstances in the wrong way; but have you ever stopped to think on how we can take a bad day and visualize the next day, as a day that may just be the same. Now if we focus on that…I would say that this is only going to give us a defeated view of another day that hasn't even arrived.
One thing that God has shown me this morning; is that these bad days we experience, are only Satan's way of camouflaging a good day with some bad moments…and why does he do this…as a means of stealing our joy, while attempting to take us down to a place, where we find it difficult to rise and continue on into another new day.
A Bible verse that has truly stuck with me lately, is a verse in John 10:10, which says… "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." In other words…the thief (Satan) only comes to us to steal, kill and destroy…and to make our lives miserable, while attempting to make us believe deceiving thoughts that just aren't true; but the good news comes to us at the end of this Bible verse in John 10:10, which says… "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."…and this is the hope that can help us to keep pressing on, from one day into another.
The encouragement that I would like to leave with you today; is to not judge another day…or even the remainder of the week, by one bad day; because even though Satan attempts to darken a day and steal our joy…God is on the other side of those bad moments…waiting for us to turn to Him; so He can walk us out of these darkened moments of despair.
No matter what you may be facing in your day…please don't think that the next day will be the same; because when we think on thoughts such as these…these can be the thoughts that give Satan permission to lead us into another bad day. Instead of letting one day ruin another, why not keep pressing on and let God take you out of the darkened moments, so you can return back into the sunshine of His goodness.
Have a very blessed day…and always remember that God is there…on the other side, of what may seem to be a bad day!
It's Always & Only Because of Him…
