Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Tuesday to you all…and how is your day? My day is going better than yesterday…and I'm truly looking forward to our time together! As we begin…I pray that we will come to see that no matter what we face in life…God's way is ALWAYS the best way to follow…Amen!!
How many times have our circumstances made us feel as if we are on our hands and knees…crawling through the darkness of what Satan has surrounded us with? Times such as these can seem endless and even cause us to want to sit in the darkness and give up; but God has taught me that when we choose to do this; then we only prolong what God longs to do within our lives. I will never forget the time when God brought Acts 17:27-28 into my life. It was at a time, when I felt as though the circumstances that I was facing, had placed me in a very narrow passageway, with the darkness of evil surrounding me; but then I read these verses…and my eyes were opened to the light of God's presence…so let's read Acts 17:27-28, which says… "That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: 28) For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring." In other words…God uses our moments of affliction to draw us closer to Him, so we become more dependent on Him, rather than ourselves or the problem. When I think of this…I also think of a child who is always given everything they want; but the only problem with that is this… when the child grows up…they only expect everything to be given to them…and they never learn anything that can help them to mature in life. One thing I have truly learned over time; is that God allows the difficult moments into our lives…not to harm us; but to help us grow in Him and discover Him in a greater way…and how are we going to be able to do that, if we are always expecting God to grant us our every wish…at the snap of a finger. You know…I will never forget the deep pain and heartache that I have faced throughout my life…and even to this day; because it has been these moments that God has used, to actually draw me in His direction. I think that many times we unknowingly expect God to resolve our circumstances…in our way…and in our time; but just stop and think…what if God was to do that…would we learn anything new that could allow us to become stronger in life, so we could become more like Him? I've learned that the only way something new can become branded upon the heart…something that can give us direction for what lies ahead of us; is when the heart becomes open to the pain that one must first experience. God has a purpose for everything…and if He did everything our way; then don't you think that this just may take us out of sync, with the plan that He has for our lives? Yes…life isn't easy and the paths we walk down can become so darkened…that we find ourselves crawling on our hands and knees through that darkness; but when we come to see that God's purpose for these difficult times; is that we should seek Him, rather than the problem or ourselves; then perhaps we will feel our way toward Him and find Him…and once we find Him; that is when we will come to see that He isn't as far away, as what we first imagined Him to be…Amen!! Have a very blessed day…and I will hope to be with you again tomorrow! It's Always & Only Because of Him… Diane Return to main blog page>>> GET YOUR FREE E-BOOK COPY OF "TIME ALONE WITH GOD" HERE!
