Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Tuesday to you all! I hope that your day is going well. It's a rainy/snowy day here; but praise God…that the light of His presence can bring a warmth into our hearts, while experiencing days such as these…Amen!!
I don't about you; but I can experience a day when nothing seems to go right…and yesterday was one of them. One thing I've learned over time; is to not allow Satan to win the battle; so today, I am fighting back through this writing…and I hope and pray that these words will help and encourage you, while facing a day when nothing seems to go right.
Last night…after a rough day, I decided that the best remedy would be to get into God's word before going to bed. Usually in the evening, I spend time with God; but last night, I was looking for something to help my aching soul…and as I began to search through God's word, He led me to a Bible verse in Psalm 126:6, and we read… "He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him."
Now some of us may be scratching our heads right about now…and wondering what these words are saying; but through some very precious moments alone with God, I came to see that what this verse is really saying; is that God takes our drought stricken lives and He blesses those who sow through tears.
You know…we may not understand why a day can be filled with so many struggles. Although, we do know who is behind it all…and the culprit is Satan; and what he attempts to do, during times such as these; is to override us with so many things in a day; that we find it difficult to remain standing.
The one thing that God was reminding me of last night; is that the one who continues to press on during the greatest hardships and tears, will be the one who leaves those moments with a happier heart…lessons learned and many blessings. I don't know how many times I have written through pain, tiredness…and even sickness; but in the end, I see how God blesses those moments that I have sown into this ministry through tears.
As we close our time together, there is one other thing that God wants us to think on…and that is this; if Satan is working that hard to bring us down; then there has to be a reason for it all. Like I said a moment ago; there have been times, when I have continued to press on through some very hard and difficult times; but I have also come to see how Satan was attempting to bring me down and cause me to give up; because God had a plan for that specific writing.
You know…I think that if we could see Satan's strategy and what he's attempting to do, rather than what we are always going through; then we would find a reason to keep fighting back…and also see these times, for what they really are.
Maybe this week…or even today, you have been experiencing some very challenging moments in your life. If so, may I encourage your heart with another Bible verse from Jeremiah 29:11, which reads… "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
Always remember that God has a plan for your life…and like the Bible verse says…it's for peace, not evil. Even though we experience a day, when everything in the day seems to fall in a domino effect; that doesn't mean that it's going to destroy us and bring us to defeat. Yes…Satan's ways may seem overpowering at times; but God holds the control stick to each of our lives…and as we continue to sow through tears…a time will come, when we will begin to rejoice again…carrying the blessings that were sown through those moments of tears…Amen!
Have a very blessed day…and remember to never give up!
It's Always & Only Because of Him…
