![]() Good evening everyone! Happy Tuesday night and welcome this evening, to the Heart to Heart Blog! I hope you had a good day with God and I also hope that you will enjoy this time, as we spend it together with Him! This morning, as I went on Twitter…to read my messages and my notifications; someone had read my blog from last night and had left an interesting reply, which read… “God puts us through tests to show Him who we are.” As I sat there for a minute…I was really taking this in because I had never really thought of it, in this way before. In other words…God allows us to go thru these trying times in our lives…just to show Him, where we are in life and how far we can go with him, while facing these difficult times. For those who have been following me on this blog…I have talked several times about my health and how I have been facing some very trying times in my life right now. In fact…the past couple of days, I have been dealing with another bad sinus infection, along with the chronic pain that I have already been experiencing. Anyways…one thing that God has been teaching me thru all of this; is to keep my faith intact. In other words…don’t let the moments of affliction get the best of me…otherwise, they will just keep taking me down…like I was beginning to experience a couple of weeks ago. You know…it’s so easy to have our faith up in the clouds, when there is no pain…no heartache or any other negative thing taking place at that time; but what about the times, when these difficult moments hit us head on and we have to endure them for a while? I don’t know about you; but I find that at first…it’s pretty easy; but then as the days continue to go by, with the same problem…it surely has a way of taking a toll on a person. We need to remember though that these are the times, when God is looking to see how strong we really are. Maybe that’s why some trials last longer than others…because our faith isn’t quite up to where God wants it to be; so He continues to take us thru these difficult times, until we are strengthened and our faith is closely brought up to His level, rather than the level of the problem. I guess this has been a day of learning for me, which I thank God for…because we all need encouragement and help, during these trying times. By the way…before I forget…I did do another audio weekly word of encouragement this morning, even though I wasn’t feeling the best…because you see…this is the best way to throw a thorn back into the flesh of Satan. I figure that if he can put a thorn in my side, with this sinus infection and pain; then I can throw one right back at him, with a God inspired word of encouragement! In fact, I was mentioning to my husband this morning; that Satan actually thinks that his plan to afflict us, will take us down and out of commission with God; but when we truly choose to rise above these moments and allow God to use our weaknesses, to inspire someone else; then these become the moments, when Satan’s plan is being defeated, as he suffers the outcome, of what he attempted to do…so always allow God to use your weaknesses, rather than allowing Satan to abuse you with them. Anyways…back to what I was saying…if you would like to listen to my weekly word of encouragement, on Inspiration for the Heart…it is posted and ready for you to listen to. All you have to do is click here! Well…I don’t know about you; but I have truly enjoyed these moments with you tonight…and most of all…with God! I hope that you will have a great night of rest and that you will truly experience God…not only in your night; but in a brand new day tomorrow! Take care and I will hope to see you back here tomorrow night, as I share my thoughts from the day, along with the goodness of a great…loving and powerful God…heart to heart! Blessings so much on your night! It’s Always & Only Because of Him… Diane Comments are closed.
