Heart to Heart Blog with Diane K Hiltz Chamberlain
Good evening everyone! Happy Wednesday night and welcome tonight, to the Heart to Heart Blog! I am so happy to have you with me this evening and I pray that your day has been a good one!

As I began my day…very early in the morning…like 2:55 am; I was up for a short time…helping someone in need and due to the time difference, I ended up being the one to get up much earlier…but I was happy to do so because I like to put myself in the other person’s shoes…and hope at the same time; that someone would do the same for me.

Anyways…after finishing up, with what I needed to do, in the very early morning hours…it was back to bed for me, until 6:20…when the alarm jolted me and made me sit up instantly in bed…and I’ll tell you; that’s the strangest feeling…sitting straight up…looking at the wall and wondering what you’re supposed to do next.

Once I realized what was happening, I was up and getting around for my day. After getting back in my office, I had planned on spending time with God on Twitter, which never happened, due to another phone call, which was the taxi driver; that was supposed to pick my husband and me up at 9:00, to go to the grocery store. After finally getting him to understand our address; he mentioned that he would be there to pick us up in 30 minutes; so that was the end of that.

After waiting a short bit…here came the taxi driver…sitting out on the street…waiting for us to come out and get in the car. What a morning…he never came up closer to the house because there was a little bit of snow in the driveway and to top it off…the window on my side of the car was down halfway. After asking him, if it would be alright to put the window up…he said that he had a problem and the window wouldn’t go up…and I’m thinking…“Oh great!”  As I sat there, with the wind on my face…a thought began to come into my head, to put down the visor and move it over by the window. As you can see…my motto is this…where there is a will…there is a way!

Once we arrived at the grocery store…things started to turn around, as I began to relax and enjoy my little outing away from the office. In fact…earlier, I had mentioned to my husband that some people go on vacations; but my vacation, is to get away from the computer and office… to go shopping…lol.

You know…we can all experience these kinds of days, where we just feel like we are on this strange roller coaster ride, while we are up one moment and down the next. Even though I had a chilly ride to the grocery store and there were odd moments in my day, I continued to smile and even joke around with the taxi driver and my husband about the taxi ride. I have come to see that we can either let these moments take us down or we can turn our thinking around and let these moments lift us up…the choice is up to us. In other words, we can allow our day to make us miserable or we can find a way thru God, to walk beyond these obstacles; that were placed in our path by Satan.

Well…another day is almost done and soon I will go to sleep for a full night…get up…work in my office and stay off the roller coaster ride that I was on today. Seriously though…no matter what happened throughout my day…one thing I can say…God was leading the way and He was truly faithful!

Well…I hope that you enjoyed our little visit tonight! My prayer for you this evening; is that you will truly experience a night of peace…just knowing that God is always there for you…no matter what you may be facing. Take care and I will hope to see you again tomorrow night, as I share some thoughts from the day, along with the goodness of a great…loving and powerful God…heart to heart!
Blessings so much on your night!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
