Moments Spent with God with Diane K Hiltz Chamberlain
Hello everyone and a big welcome to Moments Spent with God…through the Risen Hope Ministries! I pray that your day is off to a good start and that you will truly experience the loving and powerful hand of God in your life today!

I guess we can all say that we have down days…days that just don’t come together and can even get worse as the day goes on…after all, we are just human. One thing I am seeing, through moments such as these; is that Satan uses these weak moments, as an excuse to start a battle within the soul…and that battle is not only used by Satan, to attempt to take us down; but these battles also become a time, when God steps in and uses these difficult moments, to test our faith.

How many of us can actually say that we keep pressing on…no matter how difficult the battle may seem? Throughout my life, I have come to see that when we sit within the muck and mire of our weaknesses; then we only become a weak prey in the eyes of evil, which only makes matters a whole lot worse.

Have you ever noticed how a situation in your life can keep going on and on or increase in strength, while complaining or focusing deeply on the problem? To me…moments like these are what lures Satan deeper into the problem we’re already facing and as he listens to each word of complaint or negative word spoken; then I believe that Satan begins to see how his plan of action is beginning to affect us, which only makes him want to add to what he’s already begun.

The only way we are going to weaken these powerful moments of affliction; is to press on and look beyond the problem, for the good that God longs to produce through the problem. As I’m thinking on this…I’m reflecting on how difficult my day was yesterday. I woke up with some health problems, which only made a rough start to my Monday. I found that the more I focused on what was happening…it only made my situation worse. By the end of the day, I was debating on whether I should write you or not but then I decided to show Satan how strong my God could be…even through moments of weakness; so here I am…writing you now.

You know…sometimes, I don’t think we realize what our thoughts and words can do to us? We know that Satan isn’t more powerful than God; but he does have a power that can enter moments of weakness and so we need to remain strong in God, during the difficult times in our lives. Once we are able to see where Satan’s tactics are leading us; then that will give us the opportunity, to shake the circumstance from us and continue to press on.

Today, we need to show Satan that we have a powerful God living within us…especially during moments of weakness. When we allow this powerful God within us, to be the strength we need; to get up and press on; then we will no longer be viewed as a weak and injured prey, for Satan to feast on.

I want you to know that I understand how difficult it can be to stand up and press on during the difficult times…but I also want you to know that I truly believe that we can find the strength we need to press on, when we look beyond the problem, to a God of great power and strength.
May we all find strength in a God, whose power supersedes…any powerful form of weakness!
Blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
