Moments Spent with God with Diane K Hiltz Chamberlain
Hello everyone and welcome today, to Moments Spent with God! I pray that your Wednesday is off to a great start and that we all will truly experience something very special from God today, as we spend some quiet moments alone with Him.

As we begin, I want to give thanks to God, for healing a friend of mine yesterday! It was about 2 weeks ago that he had been diagnosed with a bad throat ulcer. For 2 weeks he lived in terrible pain and could hardly speak.

After days of discouragement and what seemed to be no hope; God began to work with my heart, to help him. One thing I told my friend; was that God could do anything with anyone; but the secret to receiving God’s help, would be to have a full heart of belief, in what God could do.

I would say that these past 2 weeks became quite the challenge for me; because I knew without a doubt that God was at work…but to convince someone, who is in severe pain is another story. I have to admit…there were days, when I was holding onto God, with all I could hold onto. After talking on the phone, I would pray and leave my friend in the hands of God; but by the next morning, it was as if Satan was working overtime, to keep my friend from believing the truth that could truly set him free.

After what seemed to be an endless battle, I decided to spend some more quiet moments alone with God yesterday…before calling my friend. As I sat and began to hand everything over to God; He began to lead me to a song and it goes a little like this… “He turns nothing into something; He's the giver of life. He's hope to the hopeless and sight to the blind. And He makes impossible, possible, when there's no other way; He makes the blackest sin, white as snow; that's why we can say. God can do anything with anything; He can heal any hurt, any suffering. Every cross, every care, every burden He’ll bare; for anyone, anywhere, God can do anything.”

Once, I had finished listening to the song, I began to call my friend once more…only this time; it seemed as though I was able to hear him more clearly. As I began to tell him of this…he said… “Oh Diane, something happened!” As I listened, he mentioned that all of a sudden, he felt something burst in his throat and blood began to pour out of his mouth. From there, he ran across the hall, to his neighbor…fearing the unknown, of what was happening at the time. As his neighbor looked in his throat…he told my friend that the ulcer was no longer there…but had burst. As my friend continued to tell me the story, of what God had done for him…my hand went into the air, as I began to thank God, for all He had done, in answering my prayers.

No matter what you’re facing today…just remember…God can do anything, with anyone! As we look around us each day, we see how God causes the rain to fall…the sun to shine, along with many other things; but how is it that we find it difficult to believe that He can do one thing for us…the one whom He loves so much.

When we choose to walk beyond the doubts…that only keep us distant from God’s help; to believe in a God; whose power can supersede any problem that enters our lives; that is when we begin to open the door, for God to walk in and do a great and marvelous work within our lives.

Today, I pray that we will leave doubt behind and truly believe in a God, who can always make all things possible!
Blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
