BIBLE VERSES FOR THE DAY "Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands…Isaiah 46:16" "The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Psalm 34:18" Hello everyone…and how you doing today? This morning, as I've been sitting here…listening to some music; I was also thinking on what Jesus would have me to share with you today…and the first thing that came to my thoughts; was how much He truly loves you.
You know…we are living in days that seem to be overwrought by evil…and moments such as these can be used by Satan to deceive us into thinking that Jesus no longer loves or cares for us. These moments can even attempt to make us believe that we have been abandoned by Him, which can make us feel alone in this very lonely world. Right now, I want to share my heart with you and remind you that Jesus loves you…no matter what you have done in your life, to make yourself feel that He could never love you again. When I look back on my life, I remember times when I must have hurt Jesus, due to how I was hurting at the time. One thing I did come to discover later…after the past was healed and all the hurt and anger was gone, was that Jesus' love for me had never changed, even through these rough and rugged moments that I had put Him through. This morning, as I've been sitting here quietly in His presence…listening to a beautiful song, titled… "Jesus Loves Me"…a song that He led me to this morning…it was as if I was hit by a powerful presence…one that wanted me to know, just how much He still loved me. Before we go on with our visit, I would like to share a few of the lyrics to this song with you, which reads… "When you feel forgotten…when you feel you're all alone…when you feel like givin up. When you feel discouraged and everything's uncertain…when you feel you're just not good enough. When it's slippin through your hands and you've done all, you can…and there's still so much more to do; it's easy to forget in times like this…Jesus loves you, Jesus loves you and he cares about everything you're going through. Your name is engraved on the palm of his hands and that's a promise you can hold onto. Its easy to forget in times like this Jesus loves you." Lately, as I've been going through what seems to be one thing after another, I have come to see how moments such as these can easily bring us down to a place where we feel worthless, forgotten and unloved, due to the overwhelming feelings that are associated, with whatever we may be facing at the time. During times such as these, we can begin to experience the deceptive thoughts of Satan, as he moves in and attempts to take control of these feelings that have already brought us low. In fact…he can even weigh us down to the place where we forget that there is a love that still remains with us during times such as these. I don't know about you; but when pain racks my body…and fatigue accompanies those moments of pain, it can be easy to forget that there is One who longs so much to love and care for me…One who is there and has never left my side. Even though Satan attempts to take me to a place in my life, where I feel all alone during times such as these…I have come to see that Jesus has a way of stepping in and reminding me that He is here with me…longing to help me through these painful moments. Maybe today, you are experiencing something in your life that is attempting to make you feel unloved and alone. I know one thing…with what is taking place in this world right now, we can easily find ourselves falling prey to feelings such as these; but the thing we must remember is that as God's children, we are engraved in the palm of His hand…and we will never be forgotten or abandoned by Him. As we close, I just want you to know that you are not alone today…no matter what you may be facing; for Jesus is there with you right now. Maybe others have walked away…but one thing I know for sure; is that Jesus will ALWAYS remain, so turn to Him today and let Him love and care for you, as no other can. Well…this has been another great week of visits with you…and I hope that you will have a very special weekend! Please take care and I will hope to be with you for another great God inspired visit on Monday morning! May God truly bless your heart!
