Hello everyone...so how is your Monday? Lately, I have been observing the fear that has been taking place around me, due to these troubled times, so I thought that I would stop by for a moment and share a word of encouragement, from God's heart to yours.
You know...I have to be honest with you; there has been one thing that has been on my mind a lot lately...and that is how some Christians have been spreading fear, by setting others into a panic, as though the world was about to go into a black out and end. One thing I definitely know; is that God didn't give us a spirit of fear; but rather of love and we should be bringing hope to others at this time, rather than encouraging others to stockpile and prepare for something that may never happen. As I was thinking on this, God led me to a couple favorite Bible verses in Psalm 23: 1,4, and we read... "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 4)Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." Just think, when we are walking side by side with the Lord through these troubled times, we will have no need of anything; because He will always be there with us, to provide along the way. Then in verse 4, we are reminded that even though we may walk through some troubled valleys, we have nothing to fear, for the Lord is with us all the way. Now this is hope! When we see the world's reaction to all that is taking place right now, it is understandable that they would react in such a panicking way; but as Christians, we should encourage each other...uplift each other and believe in the words that the Lord has given us, as a means of hope during these troubled times. No matter how scary this world may seem to you right now, may I encourage you to rest in the loving arms of Jesus and remember His words to us; that He would never leave us or forsake us. When we are encouraged in this way; then our hearts will find it easy to reach out and encourage someone else in need. Today, I pray that you will find peace, while walking through these darkened valleys...and that you will truly know in your heart that God's got you...and especially this world you're living in... Amen!! Have a very blessed day...you're in my thoughts & prayers! God bless you so much! It's Always & Only Because of Him... Diane
