Bible Verses for the Day | Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4, 11
(1)"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:"
(4) "A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;"
(11) "He hath made everything beautiful in his time: also, he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end."
Hello everyone…and welcome back today, to another God inspired visit! I sure hope that your Monday is turning out to be a good one…and I truly pray that God will bless each day of your week, as only He can do…Amen!
As I've been sitting here this morning…looking out my window; it's as though the trees, vines and bushes are looking a little tired, from a long hot summer. In fact, the coolness in the air is reminding me right now; that a new season is just around the corner.
While thinking on this earlier; God was reminding me, as to how we can also experience a season in our lives, which can make us feel similar to the trees, vines and bushes outside my window. As a circumstance takes a toll on us, we can begin to feel lifeless, while struggling to remain who we really are. I know for me, I have been struggling through some hard times in my own life lately…and let's face it, we all do. It doesn't matter who we are or what we may be doing at the time…we all experience moments in our lives when we face the opposition; but the hope that I'm being reminded of this morning; is that for everything we go through…there is a new season just around the corner…a season that can take away the hurt and pain and make everything beautiful once more.
As I was looking out my window a few minutes ago, I saw a squirrel running excitably across the yard with a walnut in his mouth. As I sat here watching him, I began to think on how long he had to wait for that one nut to mature. First, he had to experience a long hot summer; then he had to wait for those moments to pass; but now the hot summer months are turning into cooler days, and the walnuts have now matured…which is a reminder to me, as to how God makes all things beautiful with time…and also how a new season can change everything.
I know how it feels to hurt…for I have hurt in so many different ways; but God does allow time to change things, as He takes us from one season into another. The long seasons of pain and deep heartache can seem so drawn out, as though they will never come to an end; but the One that was victorious at the cross, will continue to move life along, just like the clouds passing by from day to day; and once the season has served its purpose…another one will take us into a time of renewal, where life will once more become beautiful; but even more beautiful than before. This is God's way of not only moving us onward; but I also believe that this is His way of maturing us and even allowing new growth to take place, from where we once felt the pain of being pruned…for another new season to come.
Sometimes I wish that the good seasons could stick around a little bit longer; but we must remember that God's view is different than ours…and while we would rather skip some of these seasons in our lives; He is wanting to use them to perfect us and make us even more like Him. Think of it this way…springtime is a time to prepare for a summer of new growth; but once those seasons have achieved their purpose; God then takes us into a time of refreshment, as autumn takes us into the cool months of winter, where we can rest from all we once walked through. I think that if we could view life in this way; then we would find the hope we need, for all that we may be facing at the time. Remember…seasons do change; but God doesn't…and He will bring us through these seasons we struggle through…so never give up!
I have to tell you…I struggled to be here for our visit today; but God was victorious once more…and these words that He so longs to encourage us with today, are now shining through from His heart to ours! I pray that as you continue on with your day; that it will be truly blessed by God above! Please take care…and I hope that you will return again tomorrow, for another great God inspired visit! See ya soon!
It's Always & Only Because of Him…
