Bible Verse for the Day | Romans 8:28
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
Hello everyone! I sure hope that you are enjoying another beautiful summer's day! It looks like it's going to be a hot one here; but praise God that He is more than able to help and sustain us through it all! As we begin our visit together today, I pray that each thought and word of encouragement will become a reminder to us; that with God…all things do work together for those who love Him…praise Him for that…Amen!
Yesterday, as I began what would be a very busy day, I took some time out to talk with God…and not only did I invite Him into my day; but I also took time to share my heart with Him…and what was concerning me about the day; for it wasn't only going to be a day of ministry work; but also, a day of other things that needed to be done to.
After sharing my heart with Him, along with all that would need to be done…and what I would need His help with the most; a feeling seemed to come over me instantly…as though everything was going to be just fine, which to me was the best way to start a busy day. From there, the day just seemed to take off…and in a very good way. First of all, the ministry work just fell into place…and from there, the groceries that I had ordered online the day before came on time…and get this, I had 12 items that were not available, which I really needed; but I ended up receiving 12 items that were even better than what I had first ordered.
I guess that what I'm wanting to say to you today; is that a day can go well, when we allow God to share the day with us. Let's face it…these end times are definitely becoming more of a struggle to get through, which can make a day that much harder to face; but I have come to see that when a powerful and loving God is there; then everything works…and why; because His power can supersede the power that is attempting to bring us down.
Over my lifetime, I have come to see what it's like to muddle through on my own…and those aren't great memories. You know…God didn't create us, so He could go His way and we could go our way. No…first, He created us because He knew that He could love and care for us; but when we don't allow that kind of a connection to continue between us and God; then what happens? Yes…we face the consequences of our own man-made thoughts, ideas and decisions.
As I look back on yesterday, I praise God that He was there to help me…and I know that just as He did it for me yesterday…He will once more do it for me today. Remember, God is our true Father…the One who brought us into this world with much love…and that love only longs to help and save us from needless suffering; but first, we must be willing to plug ourselves into His presence each day and let Him be the bodyguard we need…to keep us from Satan and all evil.
You know…I can't quite figure out one thing…and that is why we wonder from time to time, as to where God is, when He is the One who is already there…just waiting for us to call out to Him for help. Let's just stop right here for a minute and ask ourselves this question…"Why wouldn't the God who created us out of so much love, long to work everything out for our good?" If we truly love Him…then the way I see it; is that we will automatically be open to Him…longing to fit into the plans that He has for us in a day. One thing I know is this…God is more than capable of making all things possible for us; but first, we must remember one thing…and that is that we need Him here with us, so He can work on our behalf.
No matter what you're facing in your own personal life…or even in this world, I know of a God who longs to share every moment with you. He not only created you…to bring you into existence; but to also share a relationship with you, that could draw you closer to Him…and Him to you, while sparing you from the evil in this world; and all you have to do to experience this kind of a relationship; is to invite Him into your heart…and into each day. Once you make Him your all; then that is when you will begin to reap from all that He longs to do…just for you.
Today, I praise God for this very special visit…and one thing that God is reminding me of right now; is that no matter how life may appear to be…it can be turned around and made into something much better; but we will never know what that's like, until we take the time to invite God into every moment of each day.
Well…it's once more time for me to leave; but I hope that you will come back again tomorrow and join me for another great God inspired visit! Until we're together again…I pray that God would truly bless your heart!
It's Always & Only Because of Him…
