Words of Encouragement for these Evil Times | Tues., May 10, 2022

VERSE FOR THE DAY
"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." John 16:33

​Hello everyone…and how are you doing today? I am enjoying a beautiful and peaceful moment in the presence of my best friend, Jesus Christ. As I've been sitting here this morning…looking out my window, I see beauty and peace surrounding me, even in the midst of a darkened world.
You know…to some people…life here on this planet has been a shock. We see how evil seems to be on a rampage, even more than any other time here on earth…and when we see how evil is attempting to have control over our lives; moments such as these can instill fear within us…and even make us feel as if this form of evil will win out and defeat us.
One thing I can say, is that whenever I think on what is taking place in this world around me…it doesn't seem to affect me. In fact, I don't see what is taking place around me, as something that is going to defeat me…and that is because I have come to see these moments, as my final step to heaven. I truly believe that when we have a close connection with God; then there is peace rather than turmoil, even in the midst of these stormy times.
This morning, as I've been enjoying these quiet moments with you and God, I've been thinking on what really makes evil powerful…and the thing that God has reminded me of today; is that it's when we feed into it's deceptive ways. In other words, evil attempts to paint a picture of how bad life is and then it attempts to convince us, as to how real that picture is…and how everything in that picture is going to not only have control over us…but also defeat us too. Once we begin to believe what that deceptive picture is portraying to us; that is when we become snagged by evil, which only allows evil to drag us down a road of fear. Yes…we are really beginning to see evil for what it really is; but even though evil can set itself up and attempt to make us believe that it is more powerful than anything…including God, we must remember that evil's ways are deceptive…a decoy that is being set up to draw us into it's own desire for our souls.
I don't know about you; but since I have truly found God in a real way…and have discovered all that He has always been for me; there is no fear of these unknown moments that lie ahead. It seems as though the connection I have with Him, keeps me disconnected from what evil is attempting to portray to me in this world right now.
One thing I was thinking on just the other day; is that this world really does have to worsen, as the Anti-Christ will eventually be ushered in; but even though these moments must take place; that doesn't mean that the most powerful God will forsake His children. In fact, I see my life, as being locked into His presence…safe and secure, until He comes for me.
There is one thing that I would like you to think on today…and that is how you may be living your life at this time. We must remember that the more we follow after the ways of this world…the more we will be drawn into the presence of Satan, rather than the presence of God. One thing that I have definitely come to see; is that God has to be all or nothing in our lives. You know…I can't expect God to shield me from these times, if I'm allowing myself to be drawn directly into the presence of these evil times.
I'll tell you…I praise God today that He reigns and rules in my life…and that His presence alone can surround me with safety and peace during these troubled times. Can you say the same? If you are struggling with all that is taking place in this world right now, may I encourage you to take a second look at your life and see who you are really connected to at this time. In other words, do you have a strong connection with God…one that can never be severed…or is it that you have a temporary connection with God…one where you choose to plug yourself into His presence during a time of need…only to disconnect yourself later and plug yourself back into this world. Remember…we will only have peace while facing these troubled times, when we choose to completely plug ourselves into the Prince of all Peace.
I don't know what you may be feeling right now; but my heart has truly been blessed with God's words today! My prayer for you; is that you will reach out and connect yourself with a God, whose connection can never be severed…one that will take you away from the fear and unknown moments of this world…to a place of perfect peace.
Well…it's time for me to continue my day. I sure hope that your day is a very blessed one…and that God will crown all your efforts with His success. Take care and I hope that you will return again tomorrow, for another great visit together with God!
