A Gift of Hope...

​Hello everyone…and a big welcome today, to Sunday Inspiration…through the Risen Hope Ministries! I’m so glad that you stopped by for a visit today…and my prayer for you; is that you will truly come to experience Jesus…in a way that will totally free your heart from despair!
 
As we begin our time together today, I would like to give you a gift of hope this Christmas…a hope that came into this world over 2000 years ago. This hope was sent to us; that we may not have to remain in our sins and moments of despair…and has ever sense become the greatest gift that we could ever receive…and this hope is found in Jesus Christ!
 
You know…when a problem hits us head on, we tend to focus on every obstacle that enters our path; but just think on all the obstacles that Mary and Joseph must have faced, as a means of bringing God’s only Son into this world.
 
Even as Jesus grew up to be a man…the obstacles never stopped coming…as Satan worked overtime, to stop God’s only Son, Jesus Christ, from going to the cross; but no matter what came His way…and no matter how difficult the moments of temptation became…this beautiful gift of hope became reality, through the death, burial and resurrection.
 
You know…sometimes, I just sit back and think on the hope and amazing love that was brought into this world…so many years ago. Jesus never really had to do any of this for us; but His love for us became greater, than what He would have to endure in His lifetime…and even on the cross. What is so amazing to me; is how a small little baby could enter this world and grow up, to bring us an everlasting hope that could change our lives forever.
 
How is it that we find ourselves to be more attentive to the deceptive lies; that attempt to keep us from experiencing this real gift of hope…a hope that can free us from sin and breathe new life within us? Can you imagine what would have happened, if Mary…Joseph…and especially Jesus, would have focused on every obstacle that attempted to prevent them, from bringing this gift of hope to us? I think we could pretty much say that we would be sitting here right now…living with sin and a despair that would definitely take us down into a pit of total destruction.
 
Today, we need to take our attention away from the circumstances or obstacles that enter our path and turn our attention to the gift of hope that Jesus has placed before us. For those of us who have already received the free gift of hope and salvation through Jesus Christ…let us not leave this gift of hope unopened or tossed to the side; but let us take hold of this gift of hope and open it; that it may help us through these difficult moments of despair. As for those who have never received the free gift of hope and salvation, through Jesus Christ…may I invite you to say a little prayer with me? All you have to do is say… “Lord Jesus, I truly believe that you came into this world as a baby; that one day you would grow up and truly become the gift of hope for me; through your sacrificial death on the cross. I thank you Jesus that you loved me so much; that you came into this world; that I may have forgiveness of  my sins and the hope of everlasting life with you! Jesus…I truly believe in you…and now I ask that you would forgive my sins and come into my heart to stay…Amen!!
 
No matter what we face in life…and no matter how difficult it may be; we don’t have to suffer needlessly…because Jesus came into this world, to change everything…and make a way for all of us!  Take His gift of hope and salvation and open it; that it may come alive within you and keep you free, from sin and despair!
