Hello everyone! I would like to welcome you back to “Sunday Inspiration!” I hope you’re having a great day with God and that you will be truly blessed, as we spend this time together today!

How many of us can say; that there have been times, when we have fallen prey, into the hands of Satan, without even realizing it?  Do we realize that the weaknesses we experience in our lives can actually bring us down to a place, where we appear to be a wounded animal…ready for the catch?

I have come to see repeatedly; that we need to remain strengthened through our weaknesses. In other words, we need to allow God to work through our weaknesses; so we can be lifted high above them, rather than falling prey to them; to the place where Satan can see us as an easy catch.

How do we find the strength that can lift us above these weak moments in our lives? I am learning more and more that there are two things that can help to produce a greater strength, through moments of weakness and that is when we are alert to what is taking place around us and also, when we remain steadfast in our faith. When we are aware of what is taking place in our lives and when we are willing to use our faith, to take us to a level that is closer to God, rather than the problem; then we will find that we are truly being drawn to a realm that can keep us safe and distant, from the evil one.

We might as well face it…when we are wallowing in the muck and mire of self-pity, while focusing deeply on the problem; then we are only making it that much easier for Satan to have his way with us; but when we choose to let God strengthen us through our weaknesses; then that strength will help us to quickly flee, from these moments that can become destructive within our lives.

Let’s look at it this way…when a deer is injured and has lost its strength, due to the injury; then it’s less likely to survive the attack of another wild animal. In a similar way, if we are allowing the weaknesses in our lives, to take us down to a level, where we are too spiritually weak to fight back; then we will soon find ourselves struggling even more, to keep our heads above the troubled waters.

Today, we need to let go of the problems that are keeping us in the muck and mire of despair and begin anew, by reaching up for the hands of God…hands that have the strength to keep us lifted high above these difficult moments. Once we are able to truly let go and allow God to have His rightful place, in the situation that we’re facing; then we will begin to see that we have become more distant from the evil that once attempted to have a grip on our lives.

As you begin this brand new week, I pray that you will become more deeply connected with God and less connected to the problems; that can drain us of life itself, while making us vulnerable to the ways of Satan.
Have a great Sunday & God bless!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
