Hello everyone…and a big welcome today, to Sunday Inspiration…through the Risen Hope Ministries! Thanks for stopping by today and I pray that as we spend some precious moments together; that we will truly come to see how we can find peace, while waiting on God to meet our every need.

You know…waiting on God isn’t always easy…is it? There’s a feeling deep within us; that makes us anxious and more than ready to come out of a difficult circumstance; but yet, when will this happen? Waiting in the waiting room, for God to work can seem long and tiresome and can even make us feel, as if we will be in that waiting room forever.

In my own life, I remember the long and very difficult years of pain and deep heartache. In fact, it went on for so long; that I was beginning to feel as if that was my lot in life. It seemed like every new day, was the same as it was the day before…as the path before me only seemed to grow darker, with each new problem that came my way.

As one problem began to stack on top of what had already been there…for quite some time; I began to sink low, within the darkness that surrounded me, as I began to focus more and more, on every problem that came my way, which only made my life seem even more hopeless.

Through time, I began to see that I was holding too tightly, to every problem that had entered my path, while never giving God, even an inch to step in and turn these difficult moments around. It was at a time, when I sank to my lowest…with barely enough strength to go on; that I finally quit hanging onto every problem; that I felt the need to control.  When I began to let every need leave my shoulders and fly up into the hands of God; that is when life began to turn around and cause me to wait on Him instead.

You know…we must remember that if we are longing for God to fix the broken pieces of our lives; then first…we must be willing to give them all to Him and leave them there with Him, while we wait on Him, to repair what’s been broken. Once we see that we can no longer expect God to work on our behalf, by holding tightly to the problem…and once we see how important it is to wait on Him…then the next thing we will come to see; is how we can experience His perfect peace, during these long and sometimes difficult moments of waiting.

Recently, I was talking with God and sharing my heart with Him, on a similar subject. He was reminding me that even though these difficult moments enter our lives; it’s Him, who has control over them all. As I’ve said before…Satan may be putting us in these bad spots; but God is the One, who is still controlling everything that He has allowed, while laying out the boundary lines against further evil...and this is the peace we can hold to; knowing that while we are waiting; God has the control. What hope we have…knowing that God is not only in control of our problems; but also knowing that while we are waiting on Him; that He will continue to work, until He has made all things new once more within our lives…so just quietly wait, until He has finished His work within your life…for He will never fail you…I know this for sure!!
Blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
