The Sun Will Shine Again

Bible readings...
“Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. (10) But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. (11) To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” I Peter 5:9-11

Hello everyone! Welcome today, to Sunday Inspiration! I pray that your Sunday is going well and my prayer for you today; is that you will come to see what God can truly be for you, while walking through the difficult moments of life.

You know…the moments of deep pain and heartache can seem never ending. Once we are hit with a blow from Satan, we can feel as if life will never come back to where it used to be. Just getting out of bed in the morning can seem to be a difficult task and even if we make it that far, it seems like the weight of the problem can make us feel so weighed down; that even the simple things in life can seem like one difficult chore.

The hope that God has shown me, through difficult times like these; is that He is an undefeated God and nothing…not even our problems can rise above His power. I have come to see…so many times within my own life; that God never allows any difficult moment to enter our lives, unless He knows for sure that we will be able to walk out of these moments safely.

Today, the rain may be falling all around you. You may be struggling with finances…your health…grief or you may have even lost your job and feel like everything you’ve worked so hard for; just went down the drain. Remember one thing…the sun does shine again. Storms come but they don’t last forever and a time does come, when the clouds move on, as the sun slowly peaks through, to brighten a day that was once filled with gloom.

One thing about these difficult moments we face; is that God never allows us to suffer for no reason. With every trying moment, God has a plan and once we have accomplished all that He allowed the problem for; then just like the verses in our Bible reading says…He will “…make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”

Sometimes the long and drawn out moments of circumstance can make us grow impatient and we can even begin to wonder if God has walked away. Thoughts can enter our minds and try to convince us that we aren’t worthy of God’s love and that maybe He has just forgotten all about us. No matter what we think, we must turn our minds away from the thoughts that are only meant to take us further down and focus on the promises that God gives us in His word…promises that say that He will never leave us nor forsake us…promises that He will bring us through these times and give us something greater than what we had before the circumstance first entered our lives.

No matter what you’re facing today and no matter how long the circumstance has been with you; just know that a time will come, when God will personally lift you out of these moments that just seem so endless and He will not only take you out of these difficult times you’re facing right now but He will give you something special that you never experienced before…something that will always remind you of the time that God was at work in your life.
Blessings on your Sunday!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
