Exodus 33:14 reads..."The LORD replied, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."
Are you going through some tough times right now, which can make it difficult to sleep? Last night...after a busy day on my feet, I was almost sick from the pain...but as I laid my head on the pillow, I began to ask God to take me under His loving wings...where there would be peace...and a place, where no evil could reach me...and just after I said that little prayer; I was fast asleep and I slept most of the night. You know...it's so easy to allow our problems to keep us awake at night. It seems like one thought leads to another...until we find our minds out of control. Once this sets in, we seem to find ourselves caught up in a web...where we are controlled by each deceptive thought. Tonight, as you rest...just let it all go into the heavens, where God can control...what evil is attempting to control you with. Once you let go...trust God and rest under His loving and compassionate wings; then you not only get rest; but you are also giving God a chance to work at the problem...so let go and rest in Him. Amen! Good evening everyone! What a great Sunday this has been! It started out with God...then much rest and now time with you!
As we prepare to begin another new week; let us first seek refuge under the loving wings of Jesus... as we rest throughout the night; and then as we awaken to a brand new day, may we step directly into the footprints of Jesus; that He may lead us...guide us and direct us through another new day. Many times in the past, I have thought of His footprints, as though I am getting out of bed and stepping into a pair of slippers. As long as I wear those slippers; they will help me to comfortably walk through the early morning hours of my day. In a similar way...when we begin our day, by stepping into the footprints of Jesus; then we will find peace and become more prone to follow every footprint that is laid out before us. "To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps." I Peter 2:21 ![]() Always know that no matter how rough and troubled the moments may seem within your life; Jesus will ALWAYS be the Master of the sea...for whatever He allows within our lives...He will be there to control each moment that comes our way; so never focus on the tall wave that may be attempting to take you down; but rather, focus on the One, who can calm these troubling moments within your life...AMEN!! ![]() Hello everyone! I'd like to introduce you, to one of my backyard friends! Our backyard is actually like a small forest...with trees, vines and bushes; so what's a forest without squirrels...birds and even raccoons. As you can see...this little guy is a happy guy...and just think...he probably never knew that he would have a peanut to chomp on; but he came into the yard and definitely found what he was looking for. How many of us can say that our faith stands strong, when we are struggling through life? Can we step out...and just know in our hearts that God will be there to care for us, when we are practically down to nothing? You know...it doesn't take much faith, for God to bless us. In fact, it says in Luke 17:6... "And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you." No matter what you're facing...and no matter how scary life can seem...just step out in faith and I promise you; that God will definitely do the rest! |
