Hello everyone...and a happy and blessed Sunday to you! I truly pray that as you are walking through this brand new day; that you are experiencing the loving presence of God!
As I was reading our Bible verse for the day...a thought came to my mind. Do we truly realize that what we set before us...becomes the path that we end up walking down? In other words...if we make our problems a priority in our thinking; then this is only going to allow them to lead us further into despair; but when we set the Lord before us...above and beyond anything we face; then instead of the problem lingering near us...the presence of a powerful God will be there...and no matter what goes on around us...we will find that we are able to stand firm and strong through it all.
You know...we as humans seem to become so caught up, in the symptoms of our problems...symptoms that say... "Look at how bad this problem is...you will never come out of this one." Even though we experience these negative thoughts or symptoms...that doesn't mean that we have to follow their ways. I've come to see that when we are deeply rooted in Christ; then that temptation won't be there...and instead of letting our problems lead us down a detour path away from Christ...these deep embedded roots will keep us grounded and close to God and will never allow us to sway in the direction that Satan longs for us to follow...so today, as you walk through your day...keep your thoughts and minds on Christ, rather than focusing deeply on the problem...and I'm sure that you will come to see that nothing can take you down.
May you truly experience God above all things in your day...and may you feel the closeness of His presence surrounding you, rather than the presence of evil! God bless...and I will see you again this evening...Diane!!
PS...Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of another shooting that has taken place in Ohio! We are truly living in the end times!
