Good evening everyone! I hope your Monday was a good one! Come and bring your drink of choice and join me...as I sit here and enjoy a beautiful sunset of writing! I'll tell you...God is so good and He has definitely been good to me today...just as He is each day!
Tonight, I thought I'd share another one of my favorite Bible verses with you...one of many; that was used, during the very hard and difficult times of the past. Just think...the moment when we feel abandoned by God...He is already taking hold of us and longing so much to hold us close and help us through these difficult trials of life....what a God! One thing we need to do though...before we can feel that special touch that only comes from Him; is to let go of the hand of our problem...and quit making friends with despair. Once we can truly let go of everything that is hurting us; then God will be able to take hold of us and walk us through these difficult and challenging moments. I remember a time in my life, when I longed so much to take hold of God...but yet, I was afraid to let go of what was hurting me deeply. I guess that I always thought that I needed to have control; so I would always know what was happening with me and the problems I was facing at the time...but one thing I learned through that time; is that when we choose to take hold of the problem...for whatever reason it may be; then that problem begins to take a tighter grip on us and before we know it...we are being led further, into deeper and darker moments of despair. Tonight...may I encourage you to quit placing your trust in a broken down problem...and begin anew, by taking hold of a God, who will always be there to help you. I truly believe that once you can start trusting God, rather than what stands before you; then you will come to see how much God longs to love and care for you...even in the midst of despair. As you prepare to relax and rest for your evening...I pray that you will take hold of God and let Him become the shelter that can keep you safe, until the storms in your life have passed by. Have a good night...take care and I will hope to see you again tomorrow! Many blessings on your night! It's Always & Only Because of Him... Diane Comments are closed.
