Good evening everyone...and how was your day? Mine was great...and busy as usual! One thing I've come to see with God; is that life is never boring...always something to do...and you know what...I am more than happy to do it for Him, after all He has done for me!
The Bible verse that I have posted above for tonight; is again, one of my favorites, from John 14:18. You know...I remember a time in my life, when I felt as if I was lost at sea. In my minds eye; I could see myself drifting all alone, with clouds that were dark and black surrounding me, which gave me the feeling, as if I would never see shore again...or even the light of a new day again; but then I cried out for help and Jesus came and stood with me...holding me close, until the storm passed...and from there, He placed me on a new path; that has led me to where I am today. One thing I have come to see over the years; is how a circumstance can definitely make us feel. These dark moments can make us feel so abandoned and lost in a world of our own...surrounded by the dark moments that come from these trying times in our lives...but on the other hand, I can definitely say that there is a God, who will not abandon us or leave us as an orphan in the storm; but rather, He will come to us....right in the midst of the fiercest storm. No matter what you may be walking through...and no matter how dark the storm appears to be; just know that when we cry out to God; that He will come to where we are and wait out these moments with us. So many times, we experience loneliness during the storm; because we try to tough it out and remain strong on our own; but I have truly come to see that this only makes the situation much worse. May I encourage you today, to humble yourself and ask God to step into these moments with you...and one thing I know from experience; is that He will do that for you. As we close another day together...I pray that you won't try to hang onto despair; but rather, you will take hold of a God, who...out of love for you, will walk on the troubled sea and be with you, until the storm passes by. I also pray that you will have a good night...a night of peace and sweet rest...as you place everything into the hands of a God, who longs to be everything...for everything you need! Take care and I will hope to be with you again tomorrow! God bless! It's Always & Only Because of Him...Diane Comments are closed.
