Hello everyone...and a "Happy Thursday" to you! Just think...we made it over the hump of the week; so it's downhill from here...praise God! What a beautiful day...in fact, it seems as though summer is slowly leaving us...for autumn to enter the scene, which is one of my favorite times of the year!
As we walk through this day together...I would like to share another favorite Bible verse of mine, in Matthew 10:39. In fact...I actually took hold of this verse, for the very first time, when I was only in my teens. It amazes me, as to how God works with our hearts...even before His true plan for our lives goes into action! Anyways...some of us tend to go through more loss in life than others...I know I have and sometimes these moments of loss can make a person feel like their life serves no real purpose. In fact...I remember the many years of my life, when I felt this way. The thing we don't always take hold of, during moments of loss; is that loss should cause us to find God in a greater way...but sad to say; some people who experience loss, allows these moments to take them further down, by being caught up in the moment...like I did, at one time. No matter what we face in life...and no matter how much loss we experience...we need to stop and think, as to why God may be allowing these moments to enter our lives. I know for me...that as I lost many things in my life, due to my bad legs...or even the loss of children; it was so I could find the true purpose that God had for my life. In other words...He needed my attention to be on Him, rather than what I desired at the time. Today, as I look back on these moments...I don't grieve for these losses any longer; because God has truly filled the empty chambers of my heart with Him and this ministry, which has truly made my life more complete. Remember one thing...God doesn't allow loss in our lives, unless He has a good reason; so look beyond the loss...to see what God may be up to in your life, rather than wallowing in the moments that Satan longs to bring you down with. As you walk through this brand new day...I pray that you will come to see every part of your life, through the eyes of Christ, rather than the deceptive eyes of evil; that you might discover a place of hope, rather than a prison cell of despair. Many blessings on your day...see you later! It's Always & Only Because of Him... Diane Comments are closed.
