Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Friday to you all! I hope that your day is going well…and even more, I pray that no matter what you may be facing at this time; that you will ALWAYS know how much Jesus loves you…Amen!!
This morning, as I’ve been looking out my window, I see a day that looks cloudy and drab; but when I look beyond the dreariness…I see beauty too, as the snow is beginning to fall in the backdrop of this tapestry that God has placed before me. You know…isn’t it amazing how a bad situation can affect our day and make life seem so drab, as though nothing good will ever be seen again? Moments such as these can affect the heart so deeply; that we find it almost impossible to walk beyond them and experience life, for what it truly is. This morning, as I was looking through some Bible verses; God led me to a verse in Job 33:4…and we read… “The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.” One thing God has taught me over time; is to not become so tightly focused on what is attempting to overpower me; but rather, to take some quiet moments alone and just sit and focus on the good things that surround me each day. In fact…I have truly found nature to be a way of looking beyond pain and tiredness…to connect with a God who can breathe newness within my soul and spirit. As we continue our time together, I would like to share some encouraging words with you; that God shared with my heart over 20 years ago…and we read… “Breathe on me, O Spirit, to heal every hurting part; to make my life in tune with you, so you can speak to my heart; so nothing is there but you and me, to have your perfect peace, as the dark places in my heart pull away in sweet release. Then as your breath pulls away, the darkness shall with it go…and my heart shall be brand new, with more love than I could ever know.” That day, as I sat alone with God, I began to see God’s powerful love as a magnet that could enter my deadened spirit and pull out all the hurt, while replacing the darkness that had brought me so low, with a peace that could bring me back to life again. You know…sometimes we can feel so weighed down and burdened, by everything that is going on around us; that before we know it…we just can’t find the motivation to keep pressing on. In fact…moments such as these can allow Satan to control us…in a way that only keeps adding fuel, to a fire that is already burning within us. The thing that I have found to be the best remedy for a burdened heart and spirit; is to get alone with God and allow myself to truly connect with the One who can breathe new life within me…the One who can remove the darkness and the weight of a heavy spirit; so I can press on, even in the midst of it all. Maybe today, you too are feeling weighed down by life…and maybe you just don’t see a way out of it. May I encourage you today, to get alone with God and begin by letting go of the darkness…to pursue the light of His loving presence? Once you aim your thoughts and hearts in His direction…I guarantee that you will find a God, who will lift you up and breathe new life within you. Have a very blessed day…and I pray that you will truly experience a God, who longs to help you through these troubled times…Amen! It’s Always & Only Because of Him… Diane Comments are closed.
