2 Corinthians 12:9 says... "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
I will never forget the day, when God used this verse to open my eyes, to what I had been blinded of, for so many years of my life.
As I look back to a time, when I was recovering from one of the many knee surgeries I went through...I found myself struggling one particular day...and as I opened my Bible; this was one of the Bible verses that stood out to me.
While reading this verse...God began to show me that weakness wasn't a sign of defeat; but rather, weakness was one of the greatest opportunities to experience the endless strength, of a mighty God.
Even though my strength had failed me that day; that didn't mean that this was the end, to everything I was facing at the time; but rather, it became a new beginning...a time, when I could see the weak moments in a different light...a light that would bring hope back within me.
No matter what you may be going through at this time; don't allow these weak moments to convince you that life is over...or that life will never be the same again; but rather, turn to a God, who is more than willing, to make an exchange within your life...your weakness, for His perfect and ongoing strength!
