Some of you may have read this morning; that I was having some major problems with my left knee and that I was back on the cane. Well...after I shared those moments with you...I continued to press forward and finish the work that God had called me to do...despite the pain.
Later...as I was getting off the daybed in my office...to head for my kitchen; the pain began to subside and I was actually able to stand on the leg. As I went to reach over for the cane; it felt as though God was wanting me to trust Him and allow my faith to be the crutches to lean on...so I did. As of tonight, I am happy to report that the leg is stabilized and back to where it was...before the dislocation took place. There is no swelling or pain...just a little weakness left behind....but I am able to walk without the cane...and I praise God tonight, for His loving kindness to me!
This evening, as I was thumbing through the Bible; God led me to a Bible verse in 2 Corinthians 5:7, which reads... "(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)." One thing I learned...or should I say, I was reminded of today; is that when we walk by faith; then we are truly trusting God, for each step we take in life. Today, I came to see that pressing on...despite the pain...became a weapon of faith; that definitely weakened the evil that was attempting to have control over my life.
No matter what you are facing right now...and no matter how painful it may be...trust God. One thing I know...is that He will never fail you; but rather, He will come to you and make a way, while defeating the power of evil in your life...AMEN!
