Good evening everyone! I truly hope you had a good day! My day was a mixed bag of everything! Let's see...I had ministry work to do this morning...then I had some things to clean around my house...and now more ministry work...so yep...that just about covers it. It may not seem like much to you...but it is to a person with two bad legs. I do thank and praise God for His strength...and for always making a way for me, in EVERYTHING I do!
One thing I have truly enjoyed with you today, are the Bible verses that I've posted on the images...that have pertained to Jesus being the light in our darkness. You know...darkness can come not only at night...but also through the depressing and discouraging moments of circumstance. In fact...I remember many times in my own life, when the very hard and difficult times made me feel as if I was in a tunnel of darkness. In this tunnel...I would find myself feeling my way through the darkness. There were many times, when I wanted to give up...but I truly believe that this darkness actually nudged me along and kept me searching for something better...something that would lead me once more into the sunshine of a new beginning.
One of my favorite Bible verses is found in Acts 17:27, which reads... "His purpose in all of this is that they should seek after God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us."
No matter what you are walking through right now...may I encourage you to not give up and just sit in the midst of darkness...for that will only bring you further down. Instead...feel your way through the darkness...and seek after the light of the world, which is Jesus. Remember...He isn't that far away...and once He comes to see that you are feeling your way towards Him; then He will meet you there...in the midst of your darkness...believe me...I KNOW!
As your day comes to an end...I pray that you will truly experience the light of God's presence surrounding you, in the midst of whatever you're facing; that you may rest in His loving and perfect peace! Take care and I will see you tomorrow! God bless...Diane
