As I've been sitting here in my office...spending time with God; He led me to a couple Bible verses in Psalm 9:9-10, which reads... "The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. 10)Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you."
Are we running to a broken down refuge, called a circumstance? In other words, are we holding tightly to the circumstance, rather than the hand of God?
Remember one thing...we don't have to stand out in the storm...or try to take refuge in a weak problem; that is only prone to break down, when we can run under the peaceful and loving wings of a God, who can keep us out of the storm...until the storm has come to an end.
God may allow a storm to enter our lives, for reasons we don't always understand; but I have come to see that while He is at work; He does long to sustain us and make it easier on us; so run under His wings and be safe and sheltered from the storm you're walking through...for He will NEVER forsake you! Amen!
