Hello everyone..."Happy Wednesday!" This morning, I was listening to a song titled... "There are no Orphans of God." You know...from experience, our circumstances can make us feel like an orphan...in a world of our own. This world can make us feel as if the closest one to us is our problem; but I would like to encourage you today, with a Bible verse from John 14:18, which reads... "No, I will not abandon you or leave you as orphans in the storm—I will come to you."
This has been one of my favorite Bible verses, for the past 20 some years...because there was a time, when I felt like an orphan...all alone, in a world of my own. There could have been 100 people in the room at the time; but yet, I would have never felt anything because the pain and deep heartache I was experiencing, had taken over my life at that time...to the place, where I felt locked within a prison cell of despair. A time did come though; when Jesus walked past that prison cell of despair and helped me to see that He had not abandoned me; but rather, He had come to help me. I'll tell you...I wouldn't be sitting here...talking with you today, if it wouldn't have been for that time in my life, when Christ set me free. May I encourage you to not become so caught up in the problem; that you find yourself in the same place I once was. Instead...look for the One, who will ride the storm out with you...one who will NEVER leave you...forsake you or abandon you...AMEN!! Comments are closed.
