Happy Saturday everyone! I truly hope and pray that your weekend is off to a good start! This morning, God led me to a couple Bible verses in Psalm 138:6-7, which reads... "Though the Lord be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off. 7) Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me."
Just think...even though our God is a great big God; His love for us is so great that He is more than willing to come down to our level...but how many times, do we allow our pride and our own means of making it through these troubled times; to get in His way and become a barrier; that truly blocks out the help He longs to give us. We must remember that He is the only One who can step into these moments of trouble and revive us, while fighting the enemy for us...for it's only through His powerful hand that we can be saved. Ask yourself this question...why do we turn to a powerful God for help...only to let go of Him and return back to our own way of overcoming the problem? Don't we realize that this is only prolonging the moments of suffering...making it that much harder for Him to help us? Everyday, we need to not only come to Him for help...but also let go of everything and make room for Him to work in our lives. When we can trust God enough to let go; then that is when we will begin to see how a powerful God can turn everything around within our lives...AMEN!! Comments are closed.
