Have you ever had one of those on and off days? In other words...one minute everything is going well, while the other moments seem to be going in the opposite direction. This was my day yesterday.
Many years back...while going through counseling, for a dysfunctional past and sexual abuse, I was told that the memories would never go away; but that they would teach me how to cope with the past. Well...every time God seems to push me up a notch with this ministry; Satan seems to be following, while attempting to use the past, as a means of bringing me low.
After sitting and talking with my husband for a while...with tear-filled eyes; I finally found the strength to go in my office and spend time with God and do a little writing. Well...God must have been listening to my heart because the minute I got in there; He was ready to lift me back to my feet...and that's exactly what He did.
One thing I have truly learned through the painful moments of the past; is to not wallow in despair because Satan will just keep it alive and he'll even enhance these moments...but when we are willing to push through these hard and difficult times; then this becomes a form of faith...and definitely a message to God that we need His help.
