Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Tuesday to you all! What a great day the Lord hath given us…and my prayer today is that we will come to see this day, in the way that God has destined it to be…Amen!!
You know…I’ve been reminded this morning that life may not always be the way we’d like it to be. I know for me, I’d rather be free from pain and the tiredness that goes along with pain; but I have truly come to see over time…that the life I once gave to Christ isn’t about me; but rather, it’s about what He longs for my life to be…and sometimes that’s not always easy to accept. The one thing that we can hold to, while facing these trying times; is that with Jesus…all things are once more made beautiful in His time. Even though we can’t always have that perfect life that we long for; we can live with the hope that Jesus does have control over every circumstance we walk through. Today, I would like to share a few Bible verses with you that have helped me throughout my life and they are found in Ecclesiastes 3:9-11…and we read… “What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth? 10) I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. 11) He hath made everything beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.” I wonder why we fight God…and allow ourselves to walk through moments of needless suffering, when everything in life only comes in His time? Let’s face it…only God can see what is ahead of us; so why are we trying to make our lives work out, in the way we think they should be? One thing I truly love about verse 11; is where it says… “…also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end,” which means that only God knows the complete plan that He has for each of our lives. Just think…if we knew ahead of time, as to what was about to happen; then there would be no way for Jesus to work in our lives, in the way that He had originally destined them to be…because I think we would find ourselves botching everything up and doing everything according to our own liking, before He could even have a chance to work within us. We need to realize that we didn’t invite Jesus into our hearts, so we could just tie Him up within the heart and do everything our own way; for He’s been invited within the heart to serve a purpose…one that will help us to truly find the real reason for our existence, while drawing us even closer to Him. You know…it’s so easy to think that something should go this way or that way; but when we get down to the nitty gritty of it all…let’s face it…we don’t have a clue as to how our own thoughts and plans will even turn out in the end; for Jesus is the only One that can see what lies ahead of us…and I don’t know about you; but I don’t choose to walk blindly through life…only to find out in the end; that I messed up my life even more, while taking myself down a wrong road of needless suffering. Yes…life isn’t always what we’d like it to be; but I have found that these difficult times do serve a purpose…one that can truly lead us to God’s very best in the end. Maybe the story of our lives isn’t revealing a good ending at this time; but in His time…He will walk us into something beautiful and unexpected…something that will truly help us to see that His ways are always the best way to follow in life…Amen! Have a very blessed day…and I will see ya soon! It’s Always & Only Because of Him… Diane Comments are closed.
