Hello everyone…and welcome back to another brand new day at the Risen Hope Ministries! I sure hope that you had a nice Easter…and that this brand new day will be seen, as an opportunity to experience something new…something from God’s heart to yours…Amen!
You know…isn’t it good to know that God is more than willing to walk us through our day…from morning to night? When we begin a new day, by connecting with the most powerful source ever known to man; we come to see that God’s power continues to flood and fill us, with a presence that helps us to remain standing throughout the entire day.
As we begin our time together, I would like to share a Bible verse with you from Psalm 42:5 and we read… “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.”
We can have moments, when the symptoms of our problems attempt to convince us that we will never make it. We can feel drained and discouraged, from moments that seem to have no end; but what are we doing about it? Are we sitting in these ashes of despair, while we look for everything that could continue to go wrong or are we choosing to rise above these weak moments; to experience a God of strength…a God that has the power to lift us above these moments of trial?
Today, we need to stop grieving over the problem and look deep within ourselves and ask ourselves this question… “Why am I downcast or why am I allowing the problem to have control and steal my joy, when I have a God that is much stronger than the problems I’m facing right now?” It’s about time; that we stand up…shake the dust of the circumstance from us and get an attitude against Satan and what he is attempting to do within our lives. We need to realize that wallowing in self-despair, will only open up more doors for Satan to enter, as He attempts to continually afflict us and weaken us. Rather than saying to ourselves…“Why is this happening to me”…why don’t we look deep within our hearts and say… “Why are you cast down…and why are you so disturbed and why are you allowing your life to be miserable, when you have a God that is much greater than the weakness you are facing at this time?” When we can truly come to see how we are reacting to the problem; then we will once more be able to place our hope in God and praise Him; even for the unknown moments that stand before us.
As we close...remember one thing; every single day is a new day, with new possibilities. Maybe the day before wasn’t that good; but that doesn’t mean that this day will be the same. When we can start out each new day, in the way that God intended; then we will be able to leave our yesterdays behind and reach forth to something brand new!
Have a very blessed day…take good care and I will hope to be with you again tomorrow!
Many…many blessings on your day!
