Hello everyone…and a very happy Monday to you all! I truly pray that your week is off to a great start…and even more, I pray that you will continue to press on, with a faith that will always remain steadfast and deeply connected to God…no matter what you may face in life…Amen!
You know…isn’t it amazing how the words of a song can become a message from God’s heart to ours? As I was seeking God, as to what I should write today…the words from a song that I listen to from time to time began to tell the story of what God was longing for me to share with you.
The one thing that God has reminded me of…over and over again; is that it’s so easy to believe in Him during the good times; but the true test of our faith is when we can believe in Him…with all our hearts, when the path before us has been darkened by a circumstance.
In Isaiah 12:2, we read… “Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.” Can we say today; that God has become everything to us in life? Can we truly say that we believe in His power, even when the circumstance before us is attempting to make us believe otherwise? You know…it’s so easy to become wrapped up in the moments that lie before us; that we soon find ourselves on some detour road; that only takes us deeper into the problem. Isn’t it amazing how we allow our eyes to tell the story, rather than our hearts? In other words…when a difficult moment faces us head on; are we prone to follow after what we see before us or are we so in tune with God; that we turn away from the difficult moment…to connect with a God, whose power never changes? I think that if we could shift our attention to a God who can take us above these difficult moments; then we wouldn’t allow Satan to fill in the blanks of an imagination; that seems to take us beyond what is really happening at the moment.
Today, can we truly say that no matter what may come our way; that our faith stands steadfast and sure? Is our connection with God so deep; that when a powerful wave of circumstance attempts to take us down; we still remain standing in the faith that we once had before the problem began? Life can be difficult, when we are continually facing the opposition, which is Satan but when we allow our faith to keep us connected to the anchor of a strong God; then no matter what comes our way, we will be able to make it…knowing that God can help us to rise above any difficult moment that comes our way.
As you start your journey through this brand new week…I pray that no matter what comes your way; that you will remember that there is a God, who longs to be everything, for everything you need…and even more, I pray that you will not only find God to be a close friend during the good times…but especially during the hard and difficult moments of life!
Well…I don’t know about you…but I am ready to begin this brand new day…and this brand new week with God…what about you? I truly pray that God would bless your day with His best…and that you will find Him to be the closest and dearest friend you could ever have…no matter what! Take care…have a great Monday…and I will see ya soon!
Many…many blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
