Hello everyone…this morning, I would like to start out, by sharing my heart with you, along with some thoughts that God has shared with me, during the early morning hours of my day.
One thing I was taught through past moments of counseling; is to write out my feelings and not harbor them deep within the heart…so today, I write from a heart that still struggles at times, due to a very painful past. May this time truly be a blessing to us all.
(Written at 5:30 this morning) “Oh how my heart aches with relentless pain at times. It seems as if this pain continually attempts to place me in a world of my own…one that can be surrounded by fear and loneliness. These thoughts and feelings aren’t meant for the need of any attention or self-pity…for they are genuine feelings that come from deep within the heart.
It seems that this life of mine has been one overwhelming moment of pain and deep heartache; but one thing I have learned through it all; is what love and true care for another person really is. First off…it’s not words with empty promises; but rather, the words of love we share with each other, should be words that follow through with action…an action that becomes the true example of Christ…for the greatest love is shown, when someone lays down their life for another. (John 15:13)
Sometimes broken love and false promises can attempt to convince us that we can even be broken and forsaken, through the love that Christ is offering us; but we must remember that the love that Jesus offers us, isn’t filled with broken promises; but rather, His love has already been proven to us, through a sacrificial death, on an alter called a cross. In fact…He has shown us the greatest love; that no other love could ever compare to. I guess that we need to learn how to walk way beyond all the broken moments of love that we experience here on earth…to journey back in time…to a place called Mount Calvary; that we might experience a renewed hope and love that can replace all the brokenness; that is experienced here on earth.
Through time, I have come to see personally; that there is a true and genuine love…one that keeps a light of hope burning within my heart, rather than continually living face to face, with all the darkened moments of broken love.
When I look back into times gone by…to the young girl I used to be…little did I know that she would experience such hurt in her life; but at the same time…little did I know that she would experience the greatest love she could ever experience…one that would far surpass all the hurt in her life.”
No matter what you may be facing today…I truly pray that you too, will come to experience a love that can replace the broken moments of love within your own life…a love that only comes from Jesus Christ!
Have a great Monday…and many blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
