Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Sunday to you all! This morning, I thought that I would stop by for a few minutes…to share a tidbit of hope, as we are all facing uncertain times.
As I was listening to some music…I began to seek God’s word, as a means of inspiring us all…and God led me to the first four verses in Psalm 23, which reads… “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2) He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3) He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4) Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” You know…the things we experience in this life can attempt to keep us from the light of hope that we all need right now. As we watch the news or even read things on the internet; we can be so drawn into what is happening around us; that before we realize it…our thoughts have been taken in a direction that seems to convince us of defeat. The thing we need to remember; is that nothing or no one can supersede this powerful God we serve…for when we choose to follow Him, rather than the moments that are attempting to overwhelm us and lead us astray; then we will see that we have no need of anything…for He will always be there to provide and lead us with a peace that can take us beyond these troubled times, while restoring our minds and hearts. One thing I can say for sure today; is that I truly have peace…despite the virus and the upcoming election…and why…because I know that my God is in charge. No matter what people say or think; there is a God who holds destiny within His loving and powerful hands…and no one can take that from Him. As we walk through these uncertain times, may I encourage you to remain closely connected with God…because when we do; then this world and all that is happening around us won’t matter…because we will be living with a settled feeling; that our God has everything under control…Amen! Have a very blessed day…and may the God of peace be with you! It’s Always & Only Because of Him… Diane Comments are closed.
