Hello everyone...and a very "Happy Thursday" to you all! I truly hope that your day is off to a good start! As I look out my window this morning, the sun is shining brightly, with a chill in the air; but oh, what hope we find...knowing that even though the clouds may form deep within the heart, while raindrops of tears fall...God is there, to bring sunshine into these darkened moments...that is, if we choose to look beyond the clouds and raindrops! Praise Him for that!
One thing I have found to be the most difficult thing to do sometimes; is to quietly wait for God to work. Seems like we all get in a hurry and want results right away. These moments of waiting in God's waiting room can sometimes make us feel, as if life will only worsen...and even weaken us more, while we're waiting for Him to act; but I have truly come to see that these quiet moments of waiting can bring about a strength that can truly keep us above the problem; that is attempting to take us down. When we choose to wait on God, with a heart of trust; then those moments of trust do strengthen us and cause us to become even stronger, than before the problem first began...because when we truly...truly know that God is in the background of our lives...working to give us His very best; then we can anticipate what's ahead of us, rather than living in dread and fear of the unknown. Look at it this way; here we are...broken with pieces scattered everywhere. As we turn to the great physician, which is Jesus Christ...He takes us into an operating room, where He spiritually works, to put every piece back in place...only this time, He works to make us stronger and better; so we don't easily fall apart again. While He is at work...our spirits are in the waiting room...waiting to see what He's going to do and what will come out of what once seemed to be a disaster. As we wait...we are either going to trust Him for His best or we are going to suffer needlessly while we wait...as we sit there with worry...dread and fear, as our close companions. You know...many times in the past, when I have found myself to be focusing more on the circumstance...and all that could go wrong; I find in the end that everything comes out much better, than what I first thought...so may I encourage you to not focus on the worst; but while you are waiting...anticipate God's best...and truly see how God can take a bad story and give it a good ending...Amen!! Today, as we walk through another new day, I pray that God will give us the strength to wait on Him; that in the end, we may truly witness and take hold of a God, whose power knows no end...Amen!! Have a great day...and look for what God is about to do within your life...and one thing I know...you will truly find the peace you are searching for, as you wait on Him! See you this evening! Many...many blessings on your day! It's Always & Only Because of Him... Diane Comments are closed.
