Hello everyone...and a very "Happy Thursday" to you all! Today, as I'm looking out my office window...it's a gray and dreary autumn day. In fact, it looks like we might just get some rain...but no matter what it looks like outside the window...the light of God's presence is shining brightly within my heart...for I have come to see that when we truly look beyond the dark moments in our lives...there is always the sunlight of God's presence...shining brightly behind each darkened moment.
How many times have we laid our requests before God...only to leave that sacred moment...to run back to the wallowing hole of despair? How can we pray and ask God to help us in a particular way, without having a heart of expectancy...one that is anticipating God's next move? I remember a time, when my husband and I were driving on an old logging road. As we continued to climb higher...I didn't know if we would see any animals, due to the height of where we were at the time; but as we were just going around the curve; there stood a beautiful mule deer...right in the middle of the road. As I was sitting in the vehicle...watching it's every move...God took my thoughts to a place, where He was showing me...how we too can discover His best, around the corners in life. How many times have we felt, as if this sharp curve of trial was going to take us over a cliff to destruction? Instead of anticipating the worst...why not anticipate God's best? Here we pray and practically beg God for His help; but then we doubt what His power can do, as we go around the corners in life? This actually should be an exciting time in our life...one that makes us come alive and anticipate the very best He longs to offer us, during these troubling times. As we continue to walk through each moment of our day...and as each hour takes us to a curve in the road...why not truly anticipate God's best...then sit back and stand in awe, as to what this powerful God can truly do! When we choose to go this route, rather than going back to the discouraging thoughts that once brought us to Him; then hope will begin to spring alive within us...and help us to truly see that something good can happen, even in the midst of trouble. Have a great Thursday, my friends...and may you truly find God to be more than you could have ever imagined! Take care...and I will hope to be with you again this evening! Many...many blessings on your day! It's Always & Only Because of Him... Diane Comments are closed.
