Good evening everyone! I truly hope that you have had a nice Sunday! Mine was great, as I had some quiet moments today...filled with God and several hours of relaxation, which truly has become a gift to my heart. How we take time for granted...until a time comes, when we aren't always able to enjoy the leisure moments in a day.
What a beautiful...and meaningful Bible verse God has given us tonight, from 2 Timothy 1:7. As I was studying this Bible verse, I was thinking on how we tend to easily give into weakness and the fear that is associated with weakness. This morning in my blog post, I was talking on why we become cast down and brought low into our circumstance, when we have a powerful God living within our hearts. In a similar way...I wonder why we allow the spirit of fear and timidity, to overtake the love and power; that comes from the One who lives within us. Is it that we are too caught up into every detail of the problem; that we actually begin to view the problem, as something that could easily overtake us? Like I said this morning...Satan not only longs to afflict us; but he also longs to keep that affliction alive within us; so he uses these afflictions to draw us into a web of fear and other negative thoughts; where he can control us like a puppet on a string. As we prepare for another new week; maybe it's time to get in contact with our thinking and see who we have actually made to be more powerful in our lives...because if we are giving into the fear that stems from these moments of affliction; then we are actually keeping the fire of affliction burning within us. Tonight...as we settle down and relax...let's take the time to see who we are planning to start this new week with. Will it be the problems we are facing...or God? I don't know about you; but I choose God all the way...for I KNOW that He holds the power within Himself; that can free me from the web of deception and work with what is wrong. As we rest for the night, I pray that we will find the strength through Christ, to walk away from fear...and this evil power that is attempting to control the difficult moments we're facing...to experience a power that can help us to find rest in God, while allowing Him to have control over the problem that is attempting to have control over us...AMEN!! Have a great night...sleep well and I will see you tomorrow! Many blessings on your night! It's Always & Only Because of Him... Diane Comments are closed.
