Good evening everyone! I truly hope that you had a nice Labor Day! It was a peaceful day around here...with a little work and some relaxation, which made a perfect day for me!
You know...I remember the many times in the past, when the way was so dark before me. I felt like I was walking through a tunnel, with nothing to light my way. No matter how much I looked for the light...there never seemed to be a glimpse of light before me...that is until I realized that I was the one that was shutting out the light of God's presence from my path...just by becoming so caught up in the darkness, of what was going on around me.
Isn't it amazing, as to how we can be walking in the light of a beautiful moment...that is until the darkness begins to overtake us...through a situation that enters our path. I have learned so much in my life; that how we react to a situation, will either make the path grow darker or allow the light of God's presence to break through the darkness.
You know...God so longs to be the lamp that can shed light on these difficult moments...but one thing we need to do; is let Him light the way before us...and how do we do that; by simply reaching out to Him, rather than panicking in the dark, while we let the darkness have it's way with us.
No matter how dark life may seem right now; just know that you don't have to walk alone, in a darkness that leads you down a path of fear and uncertainty. Rather than thinking that this is how life will always be...seek God and ask Him to be the light that walks you through these difficult times...and one thing I know...He will do that for you!
As we prepare to rest for the night...let God enter these moments that can sometimes seem lonely and fearful...and I pray right now; that no matter what you are facing at this time; that God would come to you and illuminate these moments and bring them to light; that the strength of this circumstance will weaken...right in the midst of His powerful presence; that you may once more experience hope!
Have a great night...and may you truly experience the light of God's loving and powerful presence as you rest! See ya tomorrow!
Many blessings on your night!
It's Always & Only Because of Him...
